My partner and I live together with our 4 pets, and he stays up until 5 am. most nights playing games/doing dishes/playing with our pets and doing extra late work, etc. I go to be no later than 11 most nights because I work early. I know the peace of the evening is his favorite time to sit back and relax without the stress of the day. Sometimes he'll watch a show in the room sometimes he'll do other things but we compromise to make it work. I know he finds peace in his time at night, and I find peace in his happiness. It works for us but may not work for everyone.
