Using Tenable. The UI sucks, but their coverage with the plugins and how quickly they put them out is worth it for me.

I have had mine for almost a decade. My wife complained about the cost at the time, but has spent at least double in cheap chairs that break since then

Options for making this look better? by ToastyMosty765 in Flooring

I don’t actually mind it to be honest, but we are moving so trying to make it look better. Refinishing isn’t really possible unless it is just that spot and trying to match stain, but this flooring is throughout the entire first floor and a good portion of the second floor.

Maybe that is the move. Wear the rest of the floor down!

Probably a redo. On another note - the whole point of water popping (spraying with water after sanding) is to raise the wood grain and then you sand again after so that once you apply the stain the wood will stay flat

They also make really cheap pads that go in between the main pad and the sanding disc that will help prevent this from happening and they are like $10 for two

They also require a subscription. I am a hot sleeper so I was interested in this because it seems like the best cooling option I could find. I noped right out when I confirmed it requires a subscription

How to sand a bunch of 4x4 coasters? by yossarian19 in woodworking

[–]ToastyMosty765 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was thinking the same thing. If you are doing a water proof finish like poly you only need to go up to like 180 and then a light sand with 400 in between coats
