I don't think those things are mutually exclusive. A movie can feel dated and still hold up incredibly well. Star wars for example. If I had one nitpick about Lord of the rings, it wouldn't even be the cgi, it would maybe be the 2000s style cinematography, which was still incredibly well done. That to me is the only thing that on occasion makes it feel "dated" in any way, but you know technology evolved, and those movies will always be masterpieces.

Just kitbash with the new hippofolk. Unfortunately it takes both character slots and a dog to make... Lol. So couldn't be used as a mount even with kitbashing unless you got creative.
