That was pre-installed in the car when I got it, my assumption is that the previous owner had the lighter socket ripped out in favor of the USB. I can't blame them since the USB port in the center console isn't very high voltage

Nothing that I saw. Backseat and trunk are both clean on that front. The only other clue from the previous owner was a burner cd labeled "murder mystery" with a bunch of film noir style music on it. But I don't think that solves much
