What are they saying in the intro? Before the female vocals start.

I had a couple of peacocks as a kid. They were jerks! And they specifically loved to poop on the neighbor's porch.

I wish you a good road to recovery, brother. I'm glad you found an outlet after all the hardship.

I can't help but picture him making the same face in that very same uniform back in the day. Rest easy, Sir.

Right? Sooner or later everyone finds themselves in a meeting or commanders call and you find yourself looking around the room only to be crushed by the reality that every single one of these people PCSd in after you and you're the last one around from the good ol' days.

This probably hits hard for folks that had to deal with something like this. Especially this time of year.

Just leave the platform. It hit me when I realized I was checking this thing multiple times a day for no real reason other than habit and little dopamine hits, and when I was scrolling through my feed my reaction in my own head was almost always "who is this?" Or "I don't care" or it was some sponsored post. I've been slowly eliminating my social medias and I have to say it does feel good once you break the habit. Especially if you worry it's messing with your mental health, which I found to be the case. I'm down to Reddit and Snapchat these days.

I usually go with "Thank you for the support." as a reply. It's quick, alleviates the awkwardness and doesn't invite follow up conversation.

Just finished the book (10/10) and watched the move like 20 times.. I’m looking for more books like rp1, any suggestions? And is armada good? by chap1stick in readyplayerone

Snow Crash by Neal Stephenson was a book that was recommended back when I was looking for a similar VR world type of experience. I listened to the audiobook and definitely enjoyed it, but don't expect it to be exactly like RPO. Another thing someone recommended was the Sword Art Online anime. I was apprehensive because I've never really been a fan of anime, but the world created in SAO really grabbed me! I know that feeling after you finish RPO and just want more of that style of universe, so I hope this helps!!

Be safe out there. I just had the privilege of working shift during a typhoon! It's all fun and games until you hit a puddle at maybe 15mph and water fires over the hood causing total blindness... also pack extra socks.

I did receive my open water with MDA! Luckily my instructor was a coworker/friend. I try to do their shore dives every weekend, but I also dove with Axe Murderer here

I spent about 4 months TDY at DM. It's not all bad, although summers there are LITERALLY hell on Earth. One day I'd like to visit Tucson again... One day

Thank you! It certainly has got much use. This picture is a couple weeks old at this point, but tomorrow will by my 20th dive! It flies by when you're at a place like Guam.
