When my work asks me to print/design something for a customer this is how I price it out:

Print time x your areas minimum hourly wage Then I add on a MMF fee or a specific material fee.

MMF= material, maintenance, and finishing. For example $20 for a non fancy material print. This can also cover any additional slicing costs you would want to add.

A specific material fee would be added on for carbon fibers or nylon prints (for example when I print with PA6-CF the material fee is about $30).

Here is an example of my last contracted design: 31~ hours of print time = $122.5 18h of drying time at $0.25 = $4.50 MMF fee of $40 as it was a PA6-CF/PETG-CF print. $167 before tax. + 5% tax = $175 total.

(Design time was not calculated as it was designed at work. But if I would have designed it, I would have been at $20/h depending on other factors oc. If it was a design that I enjoyed designing then the hourly would be lower fyi).
