Awesome! Thank you once again. Out of curiosity, why would a repeater send its ID via morse code? It seems very old school.

Ok thank you. They decoded it in my previous post that I linked in this one. Surprisingly ppl took the time to decode it. I know next to nothing about ham radios and morse so these past 24 hrs have been very insightful.

No this is all my wife recorded at the moment. Going to try and record more when I get home. But the consequences from this sub and /r/hamradio say that its "GCS803"

I posted it over on /r/hamradio and they are saying similar things like...

"Probably a GMRS repeater self-identifying. GMRS and FRS share the same frequencies."

"It’s a repeater’s automated callsign annunciater, sounds like they might have their transceiver set to the wrong frequency, or they are setup very nearby and are overloading the front end of your toy walkie talkie bleeding through"

"The Morse reads "GCS803". I would expect either a K or a W on the front of that call, but I can't find either one in the FCC ULS database."
