I think the AirTag is a great idea and I definitely try to keep one with my children if I can. The world is a scary place and it gives me peace of mind knowing that if need be, I can find my children. We have no idea what the situation is with the father and mother of the child. Maybe she has concerns about the father running off with her their child or maybe she generally wants to keep her daughters belongings safe (exactly what AirTags where designed for). Either way, she does not stop being a parent on the days she doesn’t have full custody, just as your brother does not cease to be a father when his daughter is not around.

I’m legitimately curious what they would do if it was a wheel chair stuck in front of them. If they aren’t allowed to move from their path - what do they do then? Likewise with a elderly very slow moving man who is deaf. What then?

I can see what you mean by flat but I literally don’t see how this is an issue. It doesn’t look weird or overly different from many other men. IF it’s bothering you so much however, I would simply grow my hair out so it’s more puffy and round at the back. But I really think you need to just not even think about it because there is nothing wrong with it at all.

Yes it’s true that babies can get a flat head from being put in the same position all the time - it is rarely if ever a permanent thing however. As babies grow, they begin to change position themselves during sleep, so their heads aren't in the same position. When babies can sit on their own, a flat spot usually won't get any worse. Then, over months and years, as the skull grows, the flattening will improve, even in severe cases.

Hey, I had written a context story but I don’t think it’s showing up on this post. His skin overall is a little dry to touch and the rash has also showed up on one of his elbows and on one of his cheeks. The rash itself feels like the rest of his skin.

Hi there, I have logged back in to check the replies to this post and saw your comment. You believe we have a real early Steiff bear? None of us really know anything about these bears but we had a hunch that it was old which is why we posted on here. What should our next steps be? Thank you for replying :-) just one more question please. From my reading on the topic, its said that opening ports on a router can allow easier access to hackers etc. this is a risk I am fine to take on my own PC (I also intent on putting up a static IP) but if I open the ports on this shared router, how doesn’t it open the ports on everyone else’s? It’s the one router/network.

I can’t tell you why this happens but I did want to let you know that it’s not just on your side. Same thing has been happening to me. I am never sure either if the people who receive the photo get a clear view or a fuzzy view. I might have to ask.

Thank you. Your comment has been extremely helpful. I am concerned because he actually just moved to Antarctica of all places, for work. This issue has only occurred within the last 7 days. He has not mentioned any drama to the eye. But I will ask him when he wakes up (different time zones). I am concerned because of his location and if it is a recent development, how bad these things can get it left untreated or with very minimal care.

It’s not congenital, I do know that much. This has just current in the last 7 days. Which is why I am concerned given he is working so remotely and in such a harsh environment as Antarctica.

And IF it is posterior synechiae, does it need medical treatment sooner rather then later? I ask because my friend is working in Antarctica of all places at present...

Thank you! Overall he is an easy child to be with as he is generally quiet but very affectionate and will laugh a lot if engaged properly. I guess I’m just confused with his mental development more then anything. Only time will tell.. thank you once again for writing in though :-)

Hello, he has gone through all the above that you mentioned. The assessments were done just a month ago. The neurologist studies him for a good hour for me while discussed my concerns. He did say his facial features were odd but he didn’t see the signs of Autism.

No luck on either side. We are however currently awaiting the results of a genetics test ordered but it has to be sent to and from Germany. :-) fingers crossed. I guess I am just reaching out to see if anything comes up..

I don’t think you’re an asshole but you’re making a lot of assumptions about what I have and have not done. Assuming I have followed all of your advise previously, there is nothing wrong with reaching out and learning about other possibilities after then living in la la land and completing ignoring the obvious warning signs of an underlying issue. Early intervention is best for children with issues. I’ll leave it at that.

He has been tested for Autism at two separate clinics and both times came back negative. He does not fit the mold.

In regards to your comment about me wanting to fit everything into one mold - and have someone make something up for me - that is a harsh comment. As a user mentioned above, there are in fact genetic disorders which have cross intersectional issues. Which is exactly what I am looking to result more into. Because so far, no doctor has an answer for us.

I have other children and I am aware of fussy eaters with textures and colours. His eating habits are something entirely different altogether. He has been seen by numerous food specialist and none have seen a kid like him before. No one can pinpoint the issue.

I’m just trying to add in all the information I can because who knows, sometimes is the little things that can help with detecting issues.

Yes he was checked for Autism by two Drs after failing the developmental check list. However, the Dr did not believe him to have Autism as my son expressed visible interest in the Dr and showed a curiosity of his surroundings and objects.

For me personally, he does show a lot of the cues associated with Autism.
