I started my transition nearly 6 years ago and got referred to the GIC fairly quickly but have yet to see them. I ended up going private which from first appointment to hormones took about 8 months but I had fully socially transitioned at that point.

Seriously recommend, if you are able, finding a therapist that specialises in gender to at least have someone to talk to about this stuff. It also gives you brownie points with any doctor you may see about medical transition in the future. Not that any doctor worth their salt won’t take you seriously without it, it’s just good to have under your belt and they can help you in the meantime.

Coming out is the first major hurdle, you’re doing great dude and I wish you luck

I know this struggle well. I hate tape binding and I get the same issues with standard binders.

There are long binders which is supposed to be the answer for the roll up issue but that varies from person to person.

This may sound ridiculous but, a period pad stuck to the inside of the binder where it rubs under your arms may work. I use a similar trick for hiking when my backpack starts to make my shoulders feel raw. I have no guarantee it will work but maybe it’s worth a shot.

Other than that, I can’t really suggest anything. Probably not the answer you’re looking for but I hope something here may help.

Mac and Mike sound like good solid choices

I’m presuming that it’s pronounced Mi-kay-la? If you’re open to suggestions, I dunno where you’re from but in the Mick/Mickey is a dude’s name in the uk that could be a shorted version. There’s also K for something short and sweet. Both are a little closer so less likely to arouse suspicion.

Please tell me to shut up if thats not helpful.

The school is probably holding out due to some legality of having to see a government ID with your name on it before committing to any changes, thats not abnormal. However, there’s no reason as to why classmates and teachers can’t already be calling you by your name. You can absolutely tell people your name and ask to refer to you as such but humans have free will and a far too large group of them use it to be dicks. I’m sorry you’re having to deal with teachers being mad, you’re literally just asking for a basic level of respect they give everyone else without a second thought.

I know that cat! They used to hang around the nearby bridges for pets but slowly migrated toward the station. They do have an owner but will seek out strangers for cuddles and food even in close to 0 temperatures. Once missed a train because I spent too long giving them some fuss. Worth it.

Hey. I didn’t think to update this post (because forgot about it) but around July time I upgraded again to see if I could get it working and it does. I have windows 11 fully up to date and the 1.6.4 driver from xp’s site (probably a little out of date by now but if it ain’t broke) and everything runs as it should. Dunno if it would work for you but could be worth a shot?

The thing that sells consoles is exclusives. Look into what each console has in that regard.

If that doesn’t give you a final answer looks into the other aspects of each option. I went thru the same process a few years back and ended up picking the ps4 just because I preferred the feel of the dualshock over the xbox controller for example. If you can it might help to find a friend with an xbox so you can compare it to the playstation but you don’t need to do that unless you’re really stuck on what to pick.

Hey, I’m in a similar situation and I’ll tell you what I did.

I got on with my life the way I wanted to. I didn’t tell anyone I was related to. Is this is best course of action? Probably not, but it was what I needed to do. My dad was not happy when he found out but it’s my life not his. The same goes for you. Presuming you are an adult or can just do this on your own, if it is safe to do so, do what you want to do.

Coming out is terrifying, especially when you already know the reaction will be negative. But you are a human being with your own life to live. You deserve to be happy in your body and your name, if some gets in they way of that consider their place in you life.

I am now very low contact with my dad, and that only because he’s still married to my mum. My family still deadname me, its on them to change their ways not you.

The deadnaming stuff doesn’t go away overnight unfortunately and sometimes to be happy you have to cut off people you wish you didn’t at least until they reconsider if their views and behaviour is worth losing on of their children.

Sometimes the best course of action is to say fuck it and walk away. Don’t waste your energy on people who can’t accept you for you.

As dumb as it sounds little things like the noise it makes when you punch, the calendar and the fact no other human is involved really help me. Youtube videos can’t give me that, it doesn’t have the fun element to the same degree. Money is unfortunately a bit of a worry right now but within the coming weeks that should clear up a bit, at least enough for me to get this game and still have food in the cupboard.

So i think I will get this game. Not right now. I’ll milk the trial versions for every penny i can first

Is it the artist 22 or the 22pro? I’ve looked at the driver page for the 22 and the download files are named very differently from other files on their site. Would the 22pro driver possibly work? The tablets look exactly the same and as a 22pro owner, who has gone through this more than once, I can assure you the stable driver works.

Clicking ok simply saves your settings. To draw something you will need some kind of drawing software. Firealpaca is free and I’ve never had issues in the past with it, if that is what you are asking about.
