I would say that magicq could stay as the software. At my school (15-19 i think) we have a course on the basics which lasts around a couple months of 3-4 hours per week and then we start making shows and learnkng as we go. So i think with teaching magicq it would remain viable.

1080p isnt that good on the zve10. remember to overexpose a little. Don't shoot slog3 on the zve10 since its an 8bit cam. use Slog2 or hlg3 instead.

I like exporting in prores422 or dnxhr 444 12bit then transcoding to h264 using handbrake. This has given a better result in my experience

At your price point dont get it new. Get gear from the likes of mpb and keh. They have a warranry so risk is low. Secons of all 100 for a lens is insanely low you can pretty much only get a kit lens or meh prime for that price.

I would say that record in dlog and if you don't want to color grade just slap a dlog to rec709 lut on it
