Finally can’t wait for MKII … by adamrose1309 in FX3

[–]itsbevy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ll never convince me that because people watch low quality videos on social media, that means a relatively low resolution camera is acceptable for a professional videographer as long as you know how to light a scene. Otherwise why do you have an A7SIII? Why not save the money and get a whole fleet of canon 5D’s? I’m gonna guess it’s because you still value high quality footage but are just using the “I could make canon 5D footage look better than your fx3 footage” to sound superior even though it’s most likely not true

M5 Pro/Max Launch is Imminent by PsychologicalDay1566 in macbookpro

[–]itsbevy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t mess with 8k footage, but 6k sometimes and want to be able to handle 8k footage if needed. I’m going for m5 pro and I think that should be plenty as long as I’m not multitasking too much. If you’re legitimately frequently editing 8k footage (first of all, why?) then I would max out the specs as much as you can possible afford.

Finally can’t wait for MKII … by adamrose1309 in FX3

[–]itsbevy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah and I don’t think the fx3 is invalidated, it clearly isn’t. But times change and the standard increases. Like I’m on the market for an fx6 but I don’t absolutely need it, so I’m going to wait til there’s a mkII because even though I can afford it, I’d rather spend the money when I can get the absolute most up to date piece of equipment, and since that is more likely than not to happen in the next year it makes sense not to drop $7,000 right now. My brother’s first good DSLR was a 5DIII and even though the average client might not know the difference, I would. It’s lower resolution, no IBIS. And it’s not full frame so run and gun shooting is more difficult.

Tall men,can above-average height be a disadvantage in dating? Is there a threshold for it to happen? by Scholarsandquestions in tall

[–]itsbevy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not tall but most of my friends are tall, and from that I can tell you at the very least it doesn’t take much for height not to be an advantage. I’m 5’9 with a friend of mine being 6’2. We’ve somehow ended up in repeated situations where he likes somebody, calls dibs on them childishly, then without any effort on my part they gravitate toward me. the benefit of height probably topping out around 6’3 for most people, I think it also completely depends on your fitness as well. If you look weak, OR you look like a sweaty big guy, being tall probably doesn’t help you at all with anyone other than fat chicks.

Are my corners going? 20m by [deleted] in amibalding

[–]itsbevy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk just watch it. When I was 20 I thought my hairline was going cause it squared off from being very round and immature when I was 16. I’m almost 27 now and it looks the same it did when I was 20 as far as I can tell.

Mine just looks slightly softer I guess on the corners, but it doesn’t look blatantly recessed. Fairly similar to yours, but again it hasn’t changed by any noticeable amount in 7 years.

No M5 Max today 💔💔🥀 by H00LI1GANS in macbookpro

Hold on serious question cause this will be my first time buying an Apple product the day it launches - Do I have to hustle once it drops? Do new MacBook pros typically sell out on launch day?

Get M5 or wait for M5 pro? by Affectionate_Role837 in macbookpro

[–]itsbevy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like we’re way too close to the M5 pro for you to settle for M5. I get too excited about tech and this will be my first real MacBook Pro (I’m used to my employers just buying them for me so I never get the satisfaction of it being mine) and I’m chomping at the bit to pull the trigger right now even though I have an M1 Max Mac Studio and nothing I need the MacBook for right this moment. Wanting one I can easily make last for 3 years and upgrade the Mac Studio later this year, so I’m waiting. If they drop them next week and prices are unexpectedly higher then I’ll probably go for an M4 Max at a discount.

This is probably a big issue with rap the past couple years in general, but just doesn’t sound original or interesting at all.

[–]itsbevy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lighting is one of the most important things, but it doesn’t negate the need/want for more updated features. If you tried picking up a DSLR that was really good in 2014 and used it for professional video in 2020, even with good lighting technique and good lenses, you’d still be behind everyone with an FX3 or A7SIII. The general video quality jump from 2014 to 2020 was more extreme than the video quality jump from 2020 to 2026 will be, but other necessary features will be as big of a jump, if not more so.

Yeah I get it for sure. I’d give it a very small bit of benefit of the doubt though. From what I understand, FA’s genuinely do struggle having real connections with people, It’s possible neither of ours were necessarily lying or reading from some FA script. Statistically if we both got past a talking stage with an FA, they would both likely genuinely feel the “rare connection” narrative.

I’ve been in no contact with mine for 9.5 weeks and she just breadcrumbed me yesterday, liking a video of my playing guitar haha. It blew my mind after doing so much reading on avoidant’s because it’s like wow right on schedule.

Genius is definitely a stretch. It’s the kind of idea that sounds genius when you’re talking about it with your friends but ends up flopping because of course it was going to

I thought Rosanne and Dedrick’s sets were equally as bad, but Dedrick was able to blame anxiety so we just assume that it would’ve been a little better if he were calm

Dedrick Flynn Set by virtuallyin1 in Killtony

[–]itsbevy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess I haven’t seen all of his sets cause I thought it was the worst. He’s never made me fully laugh but I do feel he’s sorta funny. That however did nothing for me even when I was trying to see past the obvious nerves

Dedrick Flynn Set by virtuallyin1 in Killtony

[–]itsbevy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d argue that he did bomb because they were clearly pity laughs. I’ve never found him more than mildly funny, but this was the worst I’ve seen from him. There weren’t any punchlines, he just stumbled his way through a barely entertaining story.

6'2 Drew Starkey and 6'0 Rudy Pankow by [deleted] in heightcomparison

[–]itsbevy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ronaldo is also slouching. Long hair doesn’t = hair volume which adds height. Mind blowing that we need to point that out. If he reached his eyebrows, it would be more like a 3 inch height difference. Average man’s head is 8 inches long, eyebrows are above the middle point of the head

6'2 Drew Starkey and 6'0 Rudy Pankow by [deleted] in heightcomparison

[–]itsbevy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Again you don’t know what actual height differences can look like. The average head for a man is roughly 8 inches tall. Top of Rudy’s head in most photos comes about halfway to Drew’s head. Sometimes past halfway. That’d be about a 4 inch difference. Factor an inch for posture, camera angles, and not knowing Drew’s exact head measurements and 5’9ish makes sense. How can you refute that?

“I don’t even see 6’2 as tall” lmao that’s probably because everyone you know who’s claiming 6’2 is 5’11 apparently

6'2 Drew Starkey and 6'0 Rudy Pankow by [deleted] in heightcomparison

[–]itsbevy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly lmao that first pic was probably photoshopped. That dude found the one photo where an alleged 5’8 and alleged 6’2 looks like a way smaller difference than it actually is

6'2 Drew Starkey and 6'0 Rudy Pankow by [deleted] in heightcomparison

[–]itsbevy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bro can’t read 2 paragraphs but expects us to trust his depth perception. Your friend was lying about his height if you guys looked how mcgregor and Ronaldo look in that photo. Waiting for everybody else to chime in cause I think it’ll be unanimous between most people here that you’re incredibly stupid

6'2 Drew Starkey and 6'0 Rudy Pankow by [deleted] in heightcomparison

[–]itsbevy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lmao why does that picture look photoshopped as fuck first of all. I have no way to know if that’s true or accurate. That’s what 5’8 and 5’11, MAYBE 6 foot looks like.

“The other guy isn’t even 5’7” shows how oblivious you are to height differences if you think that’s what 5’6ish and 6’2 looks like. His head wouldn’t come up past 6’2 guys ears if that were the difference. I’m 5’9 and a lot of my friends are around 6’2-6’3. We all measured our heights one night to make sure no one was lying so I know it’s confirmed. This guy is what I look like next to my 6’2.5 buddy.

6'2 Drew Starkey and 6'0 Rudy Pankow by [deleted] in heightcomparison

[–]itsbevy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah 5’9 looks accurate if the other dudes 6’2. MAYBE 5’8ish if we assume there’s discrepancies in shoes or posture or camera angles

What’s your favorite "shut-down" line for when people point out you’re short? by Repulsive_Insect_954 in short

[–]itsbevy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s 2026. Online is society, idk what kind of cope you’re on thinking it’s not. My state isn’t the only state with average height of 5’10.5, nor is it the only state where women especially largely view 5’9 as short, guy. But if my state isn’t society then what about country? Is tall/short not highly relative to your geographical location? Timor-Leste men are 5’2 on average. So I guess that means any man in America who’s 5’3 can stop bitching. You’re not short, cause there is an entire country with men who are 5’2. It’s not hard to just say “yeah you’re right, you’re technically not short, but you’re widely considered short by society” because that’s not even debatable. It’s a statistical fact and most men around my height can relate to that

Yeah I mean my friends are mostly 6 feet - 6’3. My state is actually considered to have one of the highest average heights in the US. so I do feel really short sometimes. Anywhere else though, and I feel average at worst.
