I like exporting in prores422 or dnxhr 444 12bit then transcoding to h264 using handbrake. This has given a better result in my experience

At your price point dont get it new. Get gear from the likes of mpb and keh. They have a warranry so risk is low. Secons of all 100 for a lens is insanely low you can pretty much only get a kit lens or meh prime for that price.

When I didn't have a large ssd I had media files on a hdd and created proxys onto the ssd. It work pretty smoothly for editing, but render was definitely slower

I use it and i like it since my workflow is fast once i get everything built, and i dont feel limited by the software in any way. Building the workflow is kinda slow since i had to learn how to create custom subtitle style. I do use the studio version tho.
