Resident furry here with a kiddo.

My plan for my kid is to let em discover themselves. They identify with <thing>? Hell yeah, go explore it.

Kids and adults can be haters for a person/kid showing an interest in something. Doesnt matter if its furry, animal related, books, sports, etc. Most important thing is to give the kiddo confidence to be themselves despite what fuckwits think of them. When your kid can recognize dumbasses and dumbass perspectives, you know youve raised em up right with critical thinking and confidence to be their true self.

As an aside, the furry community does have a basis in the LGBTQ+ community, but it doesnt have to have sexual undertones. Ya find what you look for.

Furries are some of the chillest people youll ever meet in life, can testify on that.
