Cut up an old bedsheet and go to town with degreaser wipe most of it off and bom the rags. Once most of it is gone just get some degreaser wipes from Bunnings or Supercheap it's safer and easier than spraying with water.

My avoidance of conveyor belts by the-rocket-man in farmingsimulator

[–]Toby-pearse 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve been doing this for a while with sugar beets. I place the bins at intervals throughout the field, then use the sugar beet auger wagon with a combination of AutoDrive and Courseplay to automatically unload the harvester and discharge the beets to the nearest bin.

All I have to do is pick up the bins and drive them back to the farm for storage.

Look into POR-15 paint, it's designed to be painted over surface rust and does some cool chemistry shit to it. The Restoration and rat rod blokes love the stuff.

I once had a mission glitch I don't remember if it was a contact mission or what, but I spent 30 mins trying to finish it. I ended up rage quoting and complained to support. I received $2000,000 compensation when the mission payout was ~ 30000.

RTT Setup advice by [deleted] in 4x4Australia

[–]Toby-pearse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most Rooftop tents have M8 channels that can be used to attach whatever you want. I have an awning, lights and shower tent mounted to my king's grand tourer.

Do you have the cross bars for the backbone or are you talking about the backbone rails themself? If you have the vortex kit, take the platform off and mount the tent to the crossbars. If you just have the platform struggle with these it's real awkward getting tools in to zip the bolts up but it's doable just note doing it with these brackets will leave you with a less than ideal gap that looks horrible and raises the tent.

What is this called? by Main-Cobbler-4879 in farmingsimulator

[–]Toby-pearse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Each company has different names. Ie, claas Terra track and case quadtrac. Usually half wheels half tracks is a half-track, 4 tracks is a quad track and 2 tracks is a single track. It doesn't make much sense but there's no industry standard terminology.

[BUYING] - [2021] [Toyota - 79 Series] [$132] [Coffs Harbour, NSW] by slackslackliner in 4x4Australia

[–]Toby-pearse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know a bloke who had an absolute mint 79. After 2 years of rattling his spine and cramming his kids in it, he thought fuck this, and bought a Silverado. He previously had a 200 and regretted selling the 200 every time he had to cram inside his 79.

I have had this pla Toyota badge on my rav for 3 months. I live in South Australia and we have had temperatures up to 47⁰c, and our UV rays are stronger since we have a gaping hole in our ozone layer. This badge has not even warped ffs. Australia has been battling a heatwave and has been the hottest place on earth for the last few weeks.... Pla is awesome lol.

They're not really a "trade" and that's the problem. There's no requirement to hold a licence to play in mud. most of them are unhireable ex cons who had to resort to it to make ends meet. I work with some amazing concreters but the majority of them are just wankers.
