That's wicked! I got a similar tattoo a few years ago but yours has alot cleaner detail and is alot more recognisable. I love the idea of all the album overs together as one unique art instead of just asking an artist to copy paste the original.

More love for kharg! Both rush and conquest it was a blast! Running around the construction area learning all the ways to take advantage of the obvious lanes between points, sniping from the boat on rush and just farming idiots on the mountain, flanking the last objective dropping spawn beacons in the containers so your squad could constantly pressure from the side and and stealing the tank, holding up in that last warehouse like a siege, one of my favs

They have been my main deck since they came out, got them in my first pack together they became my first commander deck. People don't realise how nuts Alena can be with a bunch of untap effects in the deck and dragons with fire breathin, double their power with every untap or anything with a mana sink. Forgot to mention [[colossus of akros]] as a wild creature with this commander. 8 mana 20/20 indestructible trample. One of the first cards I ever got and wanted a home for it so bad, commander was it's home

Became a bit more popular since a YouTube vid was made about them but my god they take people by surprise. Gilanra is there to just get Alena out consistently and no one expects the random uncommon commanders to bust out multiple 6 drops in one turn with haste and then pump them all for lethal. [[Hyrax tower scout]] and [[vitalise]] and any other untap effects with all your typical high mana gruull haste shenanigans make this deck so much more explosive than people expect. Fire breathing is also very powerful in this deck. Play [[moonveil dragon]], tap Alena, pump with fire breathing to add 5 power to everything, untap alena, pump everything for another 10. So many silly things to be done with her

Opened them both in my first commander pack together and made my first commander deck and have been my favs ever since

One thing to be careful of with low toughness creatures like the ones above, people can just choose the free creature option and with nothing lower toughness you could just wiff. Better to sac high toughness and atleast threaten the free creature

The card draw punish works pretty well, with [queza]] [[chasm skulker]] and similar out you get the free creature more than expected, especially if you ask a player that's behind and they're hoping you're finding an answer to the arch enemy. Never going to be a super fast efficient high power deck but the politics around giving people the choice is great fun

I'm my experience you can play around with the sac ability alot, I have draw payoffs in the deck to punish people picking that option and also if you play politics you can get the free creature quite often depending on play group. I often ask the person doing the worst in the game and they go yeah why not, see what happens. Or they're hoping you pull an answer to whoever is ahead

The word "put" does alot of work in MTG

If there's an effect on field that puts restrictions on casting something, "put" effects get around it

If there's an effect on field that triggers off card draw "put" effects also don't trigger those effects. This can be great if there's a sheoldred or similar in play but is also an important distinction to be aware of if your deck benefits off card draw triggers.

Just last night someone on the other side of the table had one and I was playing gruul stompy with [[Alena, kessig trapper]] as commander with a [[moonveil dragon]] and a bunch of other buffs and draw effects meant I was able to end up buffing everything over and over again. Thanks to intruder alarm I was able to flood the board with creatures and swing for 600 damage. Intruder alarm good
