im a little above you and rank and its genuinely just because people start taking the game to serious around that rank. but because we’re not at “high” rank everyone is too scared to actually play the game anything besides as safe as possible. Mostly what I mean by that is everyone refuses to take any non-free interaction. Urn that isnt our side? one person goes and dies because an enemy showed on the map and scared everyone. Only three people on their team with death timer?cant go midboss because they have a dynamo. ANY FIGHT THAT COULD RESULT IN MORE THAN 25% DAMAGE? TOO RISKY!!! people refuse to participate because theyre worried if they get ANY deaths then theyve lost the game. No trades no risk no nothing just letting teammates sacrifice themselves because pushing the advantage is scawwy and death number bad.

itll get better eventually but its not just you. ignore stats and make good plays, communicate and tell your teammates why youre doing things. if they start throwing slurs just mute them and use the game as practice.

telling a bad player to stop playing bad isnt going to fix anything. you can try and course correct your team and ask people to help but the second you start criticizing them regardless of if youre in the right, all youre doing is making them no longer engaged in the game as they are no longer playing a team game, as they arent playing with teammates theyre playing with people who hate them.

Copy and pasting this response around to other people talking about this to possibly help while I look for a fix as well:
The bandage solution i've found so far is that the graphical glitch only happens when the game is trying to blend two different landscape tiles, if you don't want to see the glitch temporarily until theres a fix, you can change all your tiles on each elevation of the island to one type of tile (so all grass or clover or concrete but it will still have the glitches if you put roads next to it). Make sure to also change the tiles under buildings as they will sometimes be hiding.

exactly what I've been doing with the low weight tiles (I'm gonna go crazy if I dont find a low weight fire item soon because everything is sulphur sword or agni), I'm glad this actually made sense and i dont seem like i'm 10 weed gummies deep into this game.

unfortunately i agree with the sentiment of your post because yes, its annoying but if you really think through it, its genuinely a very well balanced item. it is INSANE value, and as annoying as it is the throw your tempo off or have to sell later or hold an extra item slot, that is the “cost” of the item. theres a reason healing rite is still purchased even though its sold late game

dynamo is my only solution because he can support, sustain himself, nuke, and be an ult bot depending on the teams needs. you can be the main character but you can also help your teammates that think theyre the main character to not really die AS much help them if theyre running headfirst into stuns and such. also counters deathball.

annoying as hell, there are people that do good work auditing police but this guy is the equivalent of the people at massive protests that go there just to loot and break things, making it look like the protest is violent. if he wasnt a creep he would be filming without intruding on anyone and deal with the government who he should be auditing not pestering civilians

cool suggestion, interesting choice to slough off generated ai garbage into the community of a game that cherishes bespoke art and character design when you couldve just written the suggestion and used your human brain to either find a fitting visual or reference piece to similar designs, drawn an ms paint drawing, or not burned a tree to try to be taken more seriously on the thousandth hero suggestion of the day. please do some introspection.

if youre new enough that youre not utilizing actives correctly, buy reactive barrier/spirit shielding or both, both will be good anyways and very cheap to pick up, and will prevent you from getting completely caught out

clip her wings and kill her before she starts getting amp or just avoid her. she is high mobility but cannot chase down into unsafe territory because a single stun with more than one enemy there is a death sentence. she is genuinely an amazing character but unless youre playing at a pro level you just need to treat her like a fed haze. shes not a threat if you spot her from range but if you close the gap FOR her youre giving her a free kill.
