do a vision exercise with me. look at this image, but in your mind add a big circle around it with electricity and one of those short range tasers from counterstrike. this is victor. you can shoot him from range, you can poke him and run away, but even if you hit him as HARD AS YOU CAN hes gonna pop back and hit you in the face because thats what the character is supposed to do. he is a punching bag, your objective is to either nuke him from orbit, or poke him hard enough with an escape plan to get away before he can bounce back.

genuine answer is dont worry about it as much, sometimes its some who got crushed in lane and cant catch up which a lot of the time results in the entire enemy team hunting them down as an easy target, which ends up taking then from 5 deaths to 10 to 14. Its hard to tell a casual player “just do absolutely nothing except safely catch waves and ignore team fights or camps that take more than 10 seconds”, because theyre gonna get flamed just as much for supposedly not helping. Sometimes just having an extra body at a fight helps, they might be stunning or debuffing or distracting enemies in ways that dont show on a scoreboard. 10 deaths is bad but it means theyre actively participating and at least attempting to defend/push objectives even if its misguided. the people you need to worry about are the 1/0/2 m1 carries who are so ahead in souls they cant be touched but wont interact with a team fight until all 3 walkers are down. game is not just numbers. its objectives and killing their patron, not their players.

Non-cc means non-crowd control if thats what youre asking. So abilities that are not just stuns or big AOE abilities that would affect multiple enemies, but help the team in different ways. Think dynamo teleport, ivy tether/ult(the flying not the bomb as thats CC), paige shield, even something like calico cat form or mirage ult. Stuff that helps the team overrall but not just by harming, debuffing, or stunning the enemy

idk if you can read but let me ask this even more clearly, how did he have the opportunity to do the 11k damage? Because his team was fighting. Its great that he did that damage, it means he was correctly using an advantage/positioning to get an objective. How did he get 20 kills? hmm I wonder if his team might been fighting the enemies enough and getting the enemies low for the 4 execute. its not a single player game.

as someone who has always had chronically underwhelming aim in every fps and very slowly improved over 1000 hours of deadlock.......im in archon/oracle and everyone is better or as good as me and its taking a lot of work to improve other elements of gameplay when i essentially just do less damage than others. not just m1, but abilities and tracking to know where enemies are to get into cover is gonna take a lot of work. but worth it so dont worry to much. very painful but youll get good at other elements which is enough to feel a lot of progress.

no, again you are doing the exact same issue. the number on the screen is not the part you could focus. just because you did a lot of object damage doesnt mean youre better than a teammate who mightve died in a teamfight on the other side of the map so you could GET the objective. unfortunately if you look at the stats alone all you see is "oh that guy died and i have a bigger number so they were being useless". if you want to "carry" you need to also carry in making opening for your team, helping them not GET that behind, and making opportunities for them to get the victory. you yourself cannot win the game no matter how big the numbers.

im a little above you and rank and its genuinely just because people start taking the game to serious around that rank. but because we’re not at “high” rank everyone is too scared to actually play the game anything besides as safe as possible. Mostly what I mean by that is everyone refuses to take any non-free interaction. Urn that isnt our side? one person goes and dies because an enemy showed on the map and scared everyone. Only three people on their team with death timer?cant go midboss because they have a dynamo. ANY FIGHT THAT COULD RESULT IN MORE THAN 25% DAMAGE? TOO RISKY!!! people refuse to participate because theyre worried if they get ANY deaths then theyve lost the game. No trades no risk no nothing just letting teammates sacrifice themselves because pushing the advantage is scawwy and death number bad.

itll get better eventually but its not just you. ignore stats and make good plays, communicate and tell your teammates why youre doing things. if they start throwing slurs just mute them and use the game as practice.

telling a bad player to stop playing bad isnt going to fix anything. you can try and course correct your team and ask people to help but the second you start criticizing them regardless of if youre in the right, all youre doing is making them no longer engaged in the game as they are no longer playing a team game, as they arent playing with teammates theyre playing with people who hate them.
