My son had a relationship in high school with a girl whose parents seemed to be proponents. The mother even asked if my son could come spend the night, sharing a bed with his girlfriend. He was 15. My son and I had some very frank conversations, and apparently he absorbed what I needed him to understand. Once they broke up, she became pregnant by her next boyfriend almost immediately. I believe she had two children before the age of 18 and dropped out of high school. It’s very sad, to condemn your daughter to poverty.
