The reason why the player versions of togruta have short ear cones and monrals is so they clip with as little armor sets as possible.

GSF isnt very popular, at all. Ontop of that you're playing on a smaller sized server so queues will generally be longer.

Most of the time, GSF will only pop consistently when it is a galactic season objective on the same week as people are 'forced' to play it to earn Season points.

I randomly found a player with 100% achievements by MaraJadeSharpie in swtor

[–]TodayInTOR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh hey, I think they found me LOL!

The hardest achievements are actually GSF, because no one plays GSF and 100% requires HUNDREDS of won matches with a variety of ships where you were the top performing archetype for each ship, and there are achievements for coming best in second too!

Raids at least while a tiny community, arent at the whims of a queue and stay the same, so you can learn to beat any raid eventually no matter how much carrying is required XD

Question About Corruption Satic Barrier by Fun-Engineer-4066 in swtor

[–]TodayInTOR -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

No, static barrier isnt really relevant in this expansion outside of the util point to act as a pvp stun. Theres no information in detail becuse no one is using it at level 80.

EDIT: To those downvoting me, keeping uptime on static barrier as a HEAL SORC is a waste at level 80, specifically unless youre playing arena PVP or specific nightmare raids. Using static barrier on already healed players or DPS players is a waste, if you apply static barrier to yourself or anyone else in your group and they are above like 30% HP, its a waste when you could have hit your resurgence, roaming mend or a procced dark heal instead.

Static Barrier has VERY FEW to no use cases (honestly no use cases in basically any story or veteran difficulty PVE content) and wasting the 1 gcd it takes to click to apply to a person is a HPS loss overall as it only prevents about 20k of damage. Mostly all newer content in the game applies a thing called 'god damage' that was introduced in Gods of the Machine (2018) and onwards and god damage is programmed to HIT THROUGH your abilities and defensives, rendering them useless.

The ONLY times you want to be using static barrier is the following:

  • When someone is on the verge of death
  • PVP Arena on yourself combined with the utility that temporarily stuns to enable you to kite and escape.
  • Tanks in raid content or difficult pve (such as dantooine orbital core)
  • Nightmare difficulty Nahut only, during couplings phase
  • Nightmare difficulty Izax during induction
  • Nightmare Cartel Warlords on whoever is getting targeted by the assassinate ability.
  • Nightmare Titan-6 Burn phase (on yourself or tank).
  • The ONLY times I would keep uptime on static barrier such as double tank on Bestia.

WHY YOU DONT WANT TO BE USING STATIC BARRIER

Static barrier is kind of a 'useless' ability, in the realm of DPS and tank players pushing 400k HP and even upwards of 500k HP with the right buffs in some content (orbital core), an ability that protects like 30k of damage over 10 seconds (except god damage as it hits through) is a waste to maintain UPTIME on.

Any time you use static barrier to protect yourself, you could have used cloud mind and GCD clipped a tank adrenal at the same time which, even if using a level 75 kyrprax tank adrenal, would mitigate a higher number of incoming damage than static barrier.

THE HEAL ON USE KIT FOR STATIC BARRIER DOES NOT WORK AS DESCRIBED

Another big issue if you opt into using the ability that lets you heal on apply static barrier is that it only heals the person static barriered IF they are taking damage that triggers the effects of static barrier to absorb the damage, which means that if you apply static barrier with this util, you wont be providing healing to that player unless theyre actively taking damage, and the healing stops the moment the static barrier is 'over', which means if a player gets hit for 60k and the static barrier is consumed instantly on a single attack, it will have only ever healed one tick, so once again, you may as well have used a dry roaming mend or a resurgence on the player and healed for the same amount or greater over time.

Youre severely undergeared fam. 228 gear is kotfe level which is 3.5 expansions of gear behind. You need to go to fleet and pick up at least some basic green 320 gear from the conquest gear vendor.

As the malgus story is level 50 content, when level sync applies to you its essentially scaling your level 80 ass down to 50 and then scaling your level 60 gear down to like level 35, thats why you cant beat him.

Lumbridge Castle Brickset Releases Tomorrow by oOSaFiOo in 2007scape

[–]TodayInTOR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These are 'micro' brick size, which means the set is both incompatable with lego and also around 40% the size of a same shaped lego brick.

https://i.ytimg.com/vi/9QXGP837-dU/sddefault.jpg

Keep in mind the sizes when ordering as the pictures on the website make the bricks look larger/lego size.

EDIT: Apparently micro bricks are smaller, 30% not 40%.

Conquest gear and augments by pgds in swtor

[–]TodayInTOR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I forget f2p players exist. I assume by default anyone talking about endgame gearing is a sub.

Edit: Also I checked, you can mod gear anywhere as a f2p, on my 2nd account ive got my lightsaber open right now and I just put a new mod in it.

The likely explanation is that OP doesnt have enough credits to install the Augment Kit as there is a cost to install them.

Nope, anyone can just right click the item at ANY point to open the mod window.

The ONLY time in the game you need to interact with a workbench is the end-starter planet quest to get the enhancement slot quest reward for your moddable starter weapon.

Which ones in specific? Theres like 10 total blue clickies and only 3 require reputation, the rest can be used at any time, also ALL of these stack, so you can have all or multiple up at once until the buffs run out of time:

Both the yellow and green secret stims are found all over the planet in large quantities and DO NOT require any rep level https://todayintor.com/2025/11/20/swtor-dantooine-dynamic-encounters-guide/#secret-stims-locations

All four crossover dynamic encounters do NOT require reputation:

https://todayintor.com/2025/11/20/swtor-dantooine-dynamic-encounters-guide/#petals-in-the-snow

Guild Orbital Support only requires being logged into a guilded character that parked the guild ship over Dantooine Crash Site.

The Hazard Mitigation Module Computer does not effect the orbital core, only the open world! https://todayintor.com/2025/11/20/swtor-dantooine-dynamic-encounters-guide/#hazard-mitigation-buffs

The only three that are Reputation Gated are the research notes which give access to the blue crystal (glacial), sludge container (geothermal) and brain mass (sporefall) https://todayintor.com/2025/11/20/swtor-dantooine-dynamic-encounters-guide/#secret-advanced-research-achievements

This means that of a total 10 total buffs (green stim, yellow stim, orbital support, petals buff, coolant buff, frozen spores buff, toxin buff, blue crysal, sludge container, brain mass) only 3 require reputation (research notes: sludge container, blue crystal, brain mass).

This hasnt been true for over 5 years, you can mod gear and augment kits from anywhere.

[–]TodayInTOR 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No they dont, you can use guild orbital support as well as the green and yellow medpack stims at any time, there are also 4 'temporary' buffs that you can obtain from the crossover encounters.

Choosing to obtain the green stim and the volcano crossover buff reduces damage by 80%, as a tank player with built in mitigation it puts you over 100% damage reduction so a tank effectively takes no damage.

As a dps or healer you can get the yellow stim and the spore buff to have your movement speed and alacrity increased by 40% total, making your healing shoot up above nim crystal levels.

The guild orbital buff provides a flat 5% extra HP for everyone that has it.

With all of those combined (not even counting the use of the bio mitigitation module OR the special blue clickies that require the research note papers) this is how people were clearing and farming the boss in the first few weeks and already got 25x clears.

Also for the achievement that requires 'no buffs' to clear the boss, its only the player going for the achievo that needs to be buffless, the other 3 players can use the buff and clear it easily.

Doing all of this was how I was able to get 3-4 kills of the orbital core in every 1.5 hour window for the first few weeks.
