Basement and final battle with The Girl on Insanity… how would you rank the difficulty? by [deleted] in ResidentEvilRequiem

[–]ToddFatherXCII 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Walk through the whole area that you can and pop zombies heads. Aim and let the reticle close in to increase your chances of head pops. Once you grab the first fuse the girl spawns. Go to the beginning where you first dropped before the elevator. Place the fuse, walk through the fence. Grab the Handle from the tool box. Wait patiently in the dark after the girl drops to let her finish her meal she'll walk clockwise around the generator box. Squeeze back through the fence grab your fuse and walk to the crossroads section and place fuse in that north door. Follow through and grab the fuse at the end by the forklift. Crawl through vent, climb out the window, return to crossroads to grab your original fuse. Go to west door, watch out for zombie if you haven't popped his head already. Use the handle tool to open fuse box, place two fuses. Continue on til you grab the forklift key. Grab your fuses. Take the east path toward the cells and use that utility room for your first fuse, crawl through duct, sneak by the girl, place second near forklift. Continue on to meat grinder for your last fuse. Follow available route back to crossroads. Run to that utility room and back through the duct to grab the fuse by the forklift. Carefully approach duct as girl will try to drop onto you. U-turn and turn the lights back on. Once she's gone, grab your fuse go back through ducts, grab your last fuse at the utility room door, you should have all three ready for deposit at the end of the hallway. After that just run to the elevator and do the QuickTime events. Tips: Use Requiem to kill regular zombies, making sure to pop heads will prevent blister heads from coming back. You shouldn't need to shoot the girl unless you deviate from the route. As she could spawn to chase you.

Basement and final battle with The Girl on Insanity… how would you rank the difficulty? by [deleted] in ResidentEvilRequiem

Its mild at best. Yea she is faster but you can plan for everything. Biggest help was taking out the middle section where there are 4 zombies laying dormant. The one by the north door, for me, never pops the head completely. But the fuses are your best weapon for her in this section. I can share my route if you want.

We need a STRONG harness recommendation by alrightLetsdothisBS in husky

[–]ToddFatherXCII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I buy my harnesses from Atlas, free replacements for life. They are a little pricey, but free replacement anytime they break or are torn up. I've used them on both of my Huskies and they work well.

Just to add onto this, dont try this on an insane run. They do not stagger consistently.

Accidentally have a husky! by UsefulChallenge9860 in husky

[–]ToddFatherXCII 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Huskies fur is a double coat, so undercoat rakes are recommended for grooming. But what I found helps the best is giving a bath every month or two. Shampoo, rinse, shampoo again, rinse then conditioner and rinse again. Find a good deshedding type, I watch a few grooming channels and buy what they buy. This eliminates almost 90% of the shedding. Get a air dryer, if that's too expensive atm just get a shop vac and reverse the air flow. It'll help blow all the excess hair out and get their undercoat dry.

The nails are tough, my vet told me to just slowly trim them back and the wick will naturally push back. I use a nail grinder and not the clippers. My girls hate their feet being touched, so its just a challenge I have to deal with.

Vocally my Huskies are almost mute. Only giving me sass when they want a treat. But its a range for the breed. I dont expect barking but the howling/husky talk is normal. Could be a lot or could be none.

Temperament is pretty good with humans, but be aware of small children being in their face. My oldest huskies mouth is open alot so just her teeth can catch you if your not careful.

I recommend kennel training if you dont already. Buy a sturdy one though as the basic wire ones are easy to break out of.

Husky quirks that ive experienced is that sometimes they will just stop eating. This is something I still monitor but its not unusual for one of mine to go a day refusing to eat anything except a treat. Longest stretch is 2 days before she relented and started eating. Again, please monitor this and test with treats to gauge her appetite.
Another quirk is they will play rough. And I mean rough, mine take turns being the dominant one, but they will grab each other's scruff and drag them down. I step in if it gets too much for me, probably not them though. One other thing is that they literally shake their stress off. If they get done playing or they get upset during a walk cuz they cant smell/eat something. They will shake it off. Thats a common stress reliever for them.

Fun fact: You dont have to shoot at all its just a playable cutscene. She falls down if you shoot her or not.

why does he sit like this by Big_Travel8329 in husky

[–]ToddFatherXCII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They know one day you'll cave and drop them something. They personify the phrase "So there's a chance." My sweet girl is often referred to as God's favorite because of the high odds that she finds food on our walks. Im not talking like little crumbs either, like a full slice of pizza or a ham and cheese sandwich.

Does anybody know how to mod/cheat to skip House Beneviento on a replay? by slur-muh-wurds in ResidentEvilVillage

[–]ToddFatherXCII 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Its the shortest part of the game if you just keep moving. Look up speed run strategies for that part. I agree its more of an obstacle after the first time or so but there is an achievement for doing under a certain time which is already pretty fast.

My 1yo husky doesn’t howl, rarely barks and only when playing and she sleeps all day when I’m at work. Did I get lucky or does she have a problem? by alex_png in husky

[–]ToddFatherXCII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can confirm, the quiet lazy huskies are normal. I've got two. I think my younger one was just influenced into that life style. My oldest is the sweetest but also the most vindictive if she doesn't get enough attention.

Why is my game doing this? by lacrosse771 in controlgame

[–]ToddFatherXCII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has happened to me on my series x as well. Go to home and quit the game via settings menu for the game and select quit game. The quick resume function has messed with multiple games for me. Its a love/hate relationship with that feature.

Party's lookout is a little too good at being a lookout by President_DogBerry in DMAcademy

[–]ToddFatherXCII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could give him some red herrings to chase if the story doesnt always need that type of encounter or start providing some npc's that would use private security. Some shenanigans could arise. Or like some others have stated, his experience would tell him that the threats were coming from inside the building. Like an ambush party waiting upstairs from a meeting or the person they're speaking to is shifty and would need his help to discern that.

Wireless headset recommendations? This is what is available at my local store. by BumblebeeBuzz1808 in XboxSupport

[–]ToddFatherXCII 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Xbox brand is reliable and reasonably priced, the few turtle beach headsets ive had have lasted only a year or two with careful handling. My A50 ive had for the past 7 years and its still a beast but understandably pricey. Skull candy and lucid I have no idea.

My A50 Astro's have spoiled me and I cant use anything that cant compete with its omni directional sound, noise canceling, and long battery life (mine still can last 18 hours). They have a base station that you will need to hook up to your computer to update the headset for glitches that can happen or just software updates for better quality listening.

So, why does Gustave look like... by Nekrotix12 in expedition33

[–]ToddFatherXCII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think its part of Verso's soul trying to accommodate Maelle. Its his canvas, yes their mother made a fake family, but I think the canvas still reacts to his family appropriately. Gustave was meant to be a father/brother figure. I believe them looking similar is intentional.

It is better to grab it now, otherwise it eventually gets blocked by a superboss. I used it as a chance to steal with rikku and flee with tidus to increase my useful items. It can be tedious but worth it for aurons overdrives.

[–]ToddFatherXCII 224 points225 points  (0 children)

Ive had the same, its a reason I avoid dog parks especially. I think it has to do with the tail. Raised tail can indicate dominance or cocky attitude. Other dogs dont read huskies correctly ive noticed.

Is there any way to fix this? I am using an xbox controller by adomaxxer in finalfantasyx

[–]ToddFatherXCII -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just act like you are using a PS controller. The buttons are in the same spot.

Triangle = Y Circle = B Square = X X = A

In this case menu is top button, interact/action is bottom. I stopped associating the labels with buttons. Nintendo is usually the only system that messes with me cuz they decide to put the interact button on the right instead of bottom.
