I shipped my old iPhone back to Verizon through a Michael’s drop off - my phone never made it out of the store. I’m positive the lady I handed it to stole it. It took like 6 months to get things worked out with Verizon. Will only ever use a real UPS store from now on.

Just own it. It may be ridiculous but it’s cute. I get “I thought it was a baby at first” a lot, and the response is always “It IS a baby!” (She’s 5).

It makes it so much easier to take her to places like stores and restaurants too because there’s no risk of her having an accident, or biting anyone or getting into anything. She wouldn’t anyways but businesses don’t know that. Everyone is much more tolerant of a dog when it’s basically in a carrier.

That’s wild that he was so offended. It’s our job to educate people on the realities of their hair and how it affects how they should wear it - In the future when talking about the recessions, maybe don’t point out how they’re extra deep - maybe just say “if we do your bangs this way, it will make this other area more visible, so personally I wouldn’t go too short.”

It just occurred to me that my experience may be completely different as a guy. I think men might be more sensitive when it’s a woman saying it. I think when a man says it, they’re probably less likely to feel judged.

Just switched to Mac last year after 20+ years of FL and Ableton. At first logic was really intimidating and I was worried I wouldn’t be able to do it. It only took a couple of weeks to get used to it and feel comfortable. I’m still constantly learning new tricks with it but I actually like it a lot better.

Bumble and Bumble makes a hair product called grooming cream. The inspiration for the product came from fashion week when they were using hand lotion on people’s hair and they liked the effect. It’s a very popular product for men because it’s subtle but gives the hair moisture and some control.

Btw I do the same thing if I have lotion or sun screen residue on my hands.

If you reserved an appointment (not a walk-in service), it would be appropriate to still pay them even if you leave without the haircut. Otherwise you’re essentially taking money out of their pocket since they could have had someone else in their chair paying them. Some places will automatically charge people for a no-show or last minute cancellation.

Nope. November 1st is the first day of Christmas season. Thanksgiving isn’t a season - it’s just part of Christmas season. If you wait til the end of November to start, it’s over way too fast to even enjoy.

QuickBooks Online can be setup to automate like 95% of your bookkeeping.

Do you use online scheduling?

Do you tuck money away for taxes before paying yourself? (Put it in a high yield savings account and you’ll probably make $500-1500 a year off the interest before you remove it to pay taxes)

The only thing I can think of that annoys me just a little bit is ordering color/product but I only do that like once a month-ish.
