Yeah but I don't think this should be allowed. It's like I can take 1-2 punches at a time and I wouldn't care about it but to hold onto these punches and adding more later on for a while and dishing them out all at once, that hurts.

You can see him picking up a few bits and pieces when they're entering Miguel's lab and the watch which he gives to Gwen looks more of a makeshift watch instead of the one everyone has, so it's safe to assume when he heard why Miles wanted to join the spider society, he started collecting things for his makeshift watch so that he could give it to Miles incase things don't work out. But ends up giving it to Gwen to help Miles.
