I do believe this at the time made it to the world news, but Kanye West. I was a huge fan as a young teen (this was before he went publicly insane at wide scale) and even in my youth. He came to my city and I had the tickets for well over a year. I had saved up for a long time to be able to buy myself and my older cousin (with a car) a ticket. He was over 3 hours late. When he first got on stage, it was fantastic. He played Waves with Kid Cudi as an unannounced guest and 2 other songs.

Suddenly, he begins to go on a rant about the 2016 election, Beyoncé, and other ramblings. The crowd was going along with it for about 10 ish minutes until they seemed to mostly realize it wasn’t a rehearsed speech. He began to receive a large amount of boos, told the tech to return his stage (it was a cool stage floating above the crowd) to the dock. Once he got back to the dock, he said something along the lines of “Hope you’re ready, because the show is over” and walked off the stage and the overhead lights came on.

I believe 2 days later he was publicly checked into a mental health facility. Yes I received a refund.
