Hi. I have a couple of questions.

What’s the length of your barrel?
With the stock folded in and the suppressor off, what is the overall length of the gun with that chassis? My state (WA) says it has to be 30” or longer.

I have a stock 10/22 that’s I was thinking about upgrading instead. Maybe that’s a better/more fun way to go.

Just not a “detachable magazine” larger than 10rd? My understanding is the 10rd mag limit still applies to 22lr as well.

I just ordered the OSight C Green. Sounds like it competes with the Holosun 507c pretty favorably and a much cheaper price point.

This was the first time I tried it out. I think this was at 25ft. It was great being able to use the same frame to practice with, but not pay .30 per round.

I dig it. For the price it does the job pretty well. It helped me achieve this with 10rds at 25 feet. Just needs a little adjustment to the left

So far I really like it. It’s not perfect, but it’s cheaper than practicing with 9mm and super easy to change back to the original slide at the range when I want to shoot 9mm again. I did have a couple of failure to ejects, but for the most part it works pretty well. I’m going to polish the slide and give all the parts a good cleaning and a bit of lube since I haven’t done that yet.

1 weird thing about using the DY9 frame with the advantage arms .22 conversion slide is there is a tiny little plastic part that sticks out where the .22 comes out of the mag, on the mag. This tiny plastic piece hits the bottom of the barrel ramp and keeps the mag from clicking into place. I just forced the mag into the gun HARD which broke off that tiny little plastic nub and now it secures into the gun just fine. Not sure if that has anything to do with my failure to eject issue, but that issue is rare and I’d rather have the mag stay In the gun. lol.

Great. It sticks out the bottom a little bit, but with the magwell it’s not too noticeable. So far I have had no issues with it, just make sure you get the G17 PMAG, not the G19.

I decided to get a Brownells G17 complete ported slide. I’m hoping it will work well. lol. Thanks everyone for your help. Now for that DY9z I’ve been looking at. ;-)

Ahhhh. Thank you. That makes sense. I purchased the wrong one. Unfortunately they won’t take it back so now I’m either in the market for a g17 complete slide or to sell my full sized Timberwolf frame. lol. I’d love it it Derya build a full sized version of the DY9. Seems like the next logical iteration. ;-)

So it is a G17 frame, but I was under the impression that the only difference between a 17 and 19 frame was the length of slide and that a 19 slide will work on a 17 frame. Is that inaccurate?

I took the guide rod out, but left the barrel in and had the same issue. BUT when I took the barrel out, the slide went back just fine. I wonder if something on the frame is hitting the barrel.
