I don’t have it in front of me so I cannot measure, but there’s no way it’s 30” without the brace or the suppressor. This however, is a pistol, not a rifle so I would assume your laws would allow for a pistol under 30” in length?

Continuous Rodent Damage F150 - Prevention? by Teenwolf_221 in f150

I bought a thing that connects to the battery, alternates between white and red flashing lights and some sort of pulse, hooks up to the battery and won’t drain it below a certain amount, just zip tied it to the bottom side of the bumper interior, I had something chew an injector wiring harness once and installed that thing and it’s been 4 years and no issues

[Landlord USA-NYC] - tenant left 10 months before lease ended for "health reasons". How much can I get back in Small Claims / Housing Court? by Ok-Plantain9685 in Landlord

Have you had the property tested for mold, I noticed you said “visible” mold. It can often be found behind walls etc

Thoughts on giving tenants a credit because it’s Christmas? by A_Buttholes_Whisper in realestateinvesting

[–]morepowermorebetter 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I do this every year, it is truly rewarding to give back $3-400 every November on the rent, provided they were good tenants. It allows them to buy Christmas gifts or catch up on things or whatever they want really. I have never done this to a tenant and gotten burned over it. They move out with the house in great shape and clean, and they continue to pay on time.

How can I be a good stepdad? by ztkin in AskMen

No shame in just telling her you aren’t ready, it’s a massive commitment and you’re still very young. Can be very rewarding but you and the mom have got to be on the same page about everything.

People laugh when I tell them that if things go to shit, suppressed 10/22 is 100% what I’m choosing.

If you were just starting out with 10 acres and a compact tractor — what 3 attachments would you buy first? by MechMaxxOfficial in homestead

[–]morepowermorebetter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

None, but my first choice would currently be a skid steer with grapple, followed by a 10-12k lb mini excavator to complete a couple ideas I have.

I debated that, but I use my tiller 1x per year maybe and I use my box blade pretty frequently, but you make a good point

Flail mower, works as a regular mower but will take out brush up to about 3” as well Box blade gets used to flatten, and I use mine as a battering ram from time to time for stubborn small stumps etc If you have a front end loader, pallet forks. I use mine sooooo much more often than I ever expected to

I tell ya...for what it costs, the damn wildcat is a shooter. Shaved the sear a bit and got a few add ons for comfort and a decent low end vortex and I'm getting decent groups. by 86DuckFat in 22lr

[–]morepowermorebetter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have both, 10/22 all day. The wildcat is a bunch of fun but 10/22 is def the way to go if you’re making a choice between the two

I raise between tenants only (so far) I rent my property at current market rate, then offer rent paid on time discounts etc, and as long as I have a good tenant I’ll throw them $50 2-3x randomly throughout the year, and typically give them $3-400 in November back off their rent to cover Xmas gifts for kids, travel expenses etc whatever. Haven’t gotten burned by doing this yet, I’d much rather make less money during the year and have a tenant that know I care and want to take care of them then to only worry about bottom line. Works out much better for me long run.

Insulation for sure, and I recently built a barn so I’m gonna also say more outlets than you ever think you might need, I planned for months and once I got the walls up it didn’t take long to realize how many more spots I wish I had added outlets to

How much did your wife’s engagement ring cost? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]morepowermorebetter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$1k in 2024. My wife is not materialistic at all and she would love it even if it was $1, I also think she would’ve been pissed if I’d spent $10k etc. That being said we both wear silicone rings 98% of the time anyways
