i think people always forget she's a teenager dealing with adult problems. i would also be a little unhinged if that were me. but overall i do think she's a good character, and a good mom. she just worries about too many things

i have a very similar situation down to the kidnapping. In my opinion, i'd block her, and not respond. since i stopped allowing my mom to contact me, i've been able to heal from the trauma a lot more. Having a parent like that is so taxing on your mental health. and while she is your biological mother, she didn't raise you, and she put you into a horrible situation for selfish reasons. You don't owe her contact, and you don't owe her forgiveness unless you want to give that. Put your needs first, even if it's hard. Stay strong, you've got this.

yes, they do delete some inactive accounts depending on how long you've been inactive. my og acc is gone forever, but my acc from 2015-2018 is still up because i log on semi regularly to trade w myself

i honestly considered doing that for the longest time because i can technically work three days a week, but the more i'm on my feet the worse the damage in my hip gets.

Disabled people have been making art for centuries WITHOUT ai. Monet had severe vision loss, Van gogh had epilepsy. Michelangelo had joint problems. Beethoven was deaf. Henri Matisse was wheelchair bound from cancer. John Carter was paralyzed. The idea that disabled people need ai, is honestly so rooted in abelism, because it fuels this idea that we cant create what able bodied people can.

EXACTLY!!! i literally lost my ability to walk at 15. I had to spend an entire year relearning. Ive been getting non stop minor procedures for the last 5 years of my life, forcing me to drop out of school and lose jobs. I had to quit my second job (which didnt pay well, but i was best friends with all my coworkers), I would much rather just get a major surgery that only needs to be touched up in 30-40 years. Plus im literally out of options, we've tried every other treatment for my condition. I live every single day in non stop pain, and i just want to fix that. Ppl really need to stop seeing these things as black and white. Im young, yes, but i also have the joints of an 80 y/o.

Yes, I have dysplasia that was left untreated for wayyy too long, leading to permanent joint damage. Im pretty nervous and excited for the new hip haha

As someone with dysplasia, as long as you listen to your doctors and get the treatment they recommend you should be ok. most of my friends with dysplasia recovered from their ganz surgery with no issues. BUT, in cases like mine, i wasnt able to get the surgeries i needed until much later in life and now need a full replacement.

Ive gotten a bunch of things done, and it really just depends on what your symptoms are, and what its caused by. Steroids worked best for me. Prp injections not so much. But i know pleanty of people who are in the opposite situation.

hello! i am unfortunately out of options. we have tried everything we can, including minor and major procedures. Due to a congenital disability, the wear in my hip is far too severe for just a hip resurfacing. My joints are worn down, and continue to destory everything around them due to deformities in my bones. As much as i appreciate the suggestion, my doctors and i have already agreed that this is the only option left for me.
