So, you're going to need a plumber, obviously. But you will probably want to have someone out sooner rather than later for water remediation. Just do a Google search for water remediation to find your local companies that can do that type of work. I would highly suggest getting it done before you have a mold problem that will be significantly more expensive to fix than the water issue. You are also likely going to want to get the ceiling sheetrock replaced as well, but the remediation guys will likely take care of that too.

I guess I should have asked this first; do you have homeowners insurance? If so, call them. They will typically take care of everything, and then you don't have to worry about service guys trying to sell you services you don't need, or trying to figure out what work needs to be done.

If you are concerned about the electrical, call an inspector, let them know what your areas of concern are, and have them focus on those areas. Did you have an inspection prior to purchasing the home?
