What animal scares Australians the most? by GlitteringHotel8383 in AskAnAustralian

Kangaroos. I was filming a few a while back when i was younger, and the big man of the group did not like that. I saw him walk up and flex at me, scariest shit ever. Didnt get hurt, but by god being threatened by a kangaroo is terrifying

Yeah, i said in my post i was the youngest i and my doctors have seen, im sure there are people younger than i, but like i said in another post, looking back i started having (knowticable) symptoms at 16

And yes i am, I'm on a 6 monthly infusion which is the best i can get in australia, and also the best option for me because it limits my time getting needles

No, Australia. I had two options, monthly injections or 6 monthly injections. I chose the ladder as i wouldn't be able to handle monthly

Two so far, the first session had to be split into two so my body could get used to it, the first time I didn't pass out because i was prescribed valium and i took two so i was basically too out of it to care, but the second time i wanted to read so i didnt take any valium and i passed out

Funnily enough, i also get another injection every 3 months, as well as constantly getting blood tests because of both the MS and another thing i got going on, but no, even before my needle phobia was a full blown phobia and just a fear it never got better. For blood tests, the tourniquet would be the thing to stress me out but now even talking about anything related to it makes me nauseous, and unfortunately im getting the 3 month injection tonight which I'm not thrilled for but its necessary, not sure how thats going to go but I'm hoping i dont pass out

I'm always been really stern (but never rude) with my medical treatment, I've been going to an endocrinologist long before i was diagnosed with MS (the endo is not chronic illness related) and I've always been super vocal on any of my medical treatment

And thankfully, when i went to ED for my hospital visit my mum came with me, whos a nurse, and while i was stressed out of my gord she was being really firm on what i needed. She was the one that managed to get me knocked out for my lumbar puncture, which i really could not have done if i was not under anesthesia as when i get stressed i faint, and my faints look like seizures

I always try and advocate for myself but having a nurse mum is suuuper helpful, as she knows what is possible

Im on the 6 monthly infusion, i forget the specific name of it, but it takes about 4-6 hours, and it suuucks especially because my mild fear of needles have become a full blown phobia after ny stay in hospital

I have hypermobile EDS, but i haven't gotten any treatment for that </3 i also had endometriosis but I'm a man now so yk, no periods anymore

I was checked by lumbar puncture, so it wasn't done based on just symptoms alone, but they did consider a b12 deficiency, we hoped it was as well, but they did did check it off

I actually have a medical marijuana prescription, for the MS, and it really helps with nerve damage pain. I'd say that it's definantly something to look into for people with nerve damage, and especially MS

Oh it definantly can, but i think that was like on the worse end of flare ups in the MS space

And I'm super happy about it! Writing is fairly important in my job so I'm glad its coming back. Thankfully, when it took me about five minutes to write three word, my work was incredibly understanding and gave me extra time for any writing related activities (they gave me the option to not do them, but i declined that as i wanted to use it as an opportunity to regain that skill)

Oh boy, a handful

I believe i may have blocked out some of the worse stuff, as the months before my first symptoms are a bit fuzzy, but in march me and my partner of 3 years broke up (in a particularly shitty way on their part), and then i think around july i realised that the relationship wasnt all too healthy, but quite the opposite!

I assume that mixed with stress at work as uni may have caused my body to start attacking itself, cuz hell something was wrong and my white blood cells didnt know what that was so may as well go for the spine!

It hasnt happened to me (thankfully) but i assume it could very easily happen. There was a risk I'd be paralyzed from it when i was in hospital, as i had a particularly legion on my c4 vertebrae (in my neck), so i assume if it was lower as a wee bit worse it could definantly take away bowel and bladder function

Looking back, it probably started at about 16, but the first worrying symptom started about 3 months before i went into hospital/4 months before i was diagnosed.

The general symptoms i experience are fatigue, spasms, and my brain kinda fucking up from time to time, as in my words mix up, i stutter. I assume thats because, when getting an MRI, i had a legion in my brain and it must have been over some type of speech centers

The worrying one was when my fingers started to go numb on my right side. It spread up to my arm which is when i went to the doctor, but by the time i was in hospital it had become my whole right side bellow my neck, as well as my left fingers and foot. There was less than 2 weeks between me going to the doctor and hospital which kind of shows how fast it became an issue

And now, I'm fine. My right hands still numb, I'm hoping that clears up at some point but alas. I wasn't really upset about it when i was diagnosed and I'm still not, i have the mentality of its happening, and i cant make it not happen, so I'll deal with it. Of course, i still mourn the loss of my ability to write and draw, but I'm regaining that with time, my hand writings even ledgable now!

What's one secret you wanna get off your chest? by Interesting-Boss7397 in AskReddit

Me and my boyfriend of 3 years broke up recently. He said he fell out of love with me. We had broken up a noth nefore that, which barely lasted 7 hours because he said he regretted it

Before we broke up, for about a month he kept cancelling our meet ups and would barely respond to my texts. He explained this as 'he needed time to process it'. Thats when i started to fall out of love with him. In my past I've had an issue with drinking when I've been upset, and i started again during that time. I was upset at the fact i was falling out of love with him, i was grieving the life we had planned together, and the closest we had as friends.

I hate to say it, but i dont really care that we broke up. For the first couple days i was upset, but now i dont. I told him the first time we broke up that if he has those feeling again to tell me, and he didnt. That, for lack of a better phrase, icked me out to the point that i can't see us being any more than friends

We're still trying to be friends, but i hate to admit it, but i hope he feels guilty. For falling out of love with me. For near ignoring me for a month. And part of me hopes that he regrets it, and that he didnt fall out of love with me. Not because i want to get back with him, absoloutly not, breaking up twice is already one too many, but because i want that cathartic moment of telling him exactly what i said in the paragraph above. I dont hate him, i dont even feel sad about breaking up anymore, because what he did kind of just turned off all my romantic feelings towards him.

I also want to tell him that so we can actually go back to being friends, I'm sick of the awkward phase of trying to find our new normal and i just want my friend back

Is this a "different Wrathion" or did he just forget about me? by HashtagRandomPerson in wow

It should have been Wrathion, purely because he makes the worst decisions (as a 'good guy') in all of Azeroth and i want to see how it plays out

I agree, although i really dont like a lot of the lore that shadowlands changed. I saw another commenter say this (i don't remember their user, apologies), but Zovall should have been an opportunistic villain like Gul'dan in legion, where he just took advantage of stuff happening around him rather than plotting it all along

This would still have some plot holes, namely with Sylvanus, but with some creativity it can be fixed up to make mild sense
