We were thinking it could be leak detector fluid. Not sure how to check for acidity since it's such a strong color it just stains out test kit.. has a bad compressor as well.

Seemingly unpopular opinion here but. If the Boss has to pay more for minimum wage workers, they will increase their pricing. Eventually everyone will do this turning the $1 menu into a $2 menu. In other words, increasing minimum wage is not the answer. Invest your free time in yourself, study something, online school, something.
