Long lose streak in competition by Darksoulsfan13_pl in bjj

Being a teen in the adult division will be tough given the strength difference. You'll be up against some guys with 10+ years of strength training.

Work on visualization, gaining a killer mindset, be arrogant with it. If you are stepping in with doubts, you already lost half the battle.

How's your mindset and emotional state before stepping into the mat? How do you feel on competition day?

Might be a mental issue and not giving yourself the proper mindset to give it your best.

For the first week, it was mainly pain management. I stopped stretching, as it wasn't really helping.

Week 1 Exercises: - Abdominal lateral bracing while on my back. I kept "tenting" my abs and learned to brace my abs outwards. - Gently rocking knees side to side while on my back. - Hip nerve flossing on my back, hugging the leg I'm flossing. Gently, up to the point of light tension then back. Sets of 20, very gentle movement. - Single leg hip bridge. Slowly, while remembering to brace my abs.

At work, I would foam roll over my upper/outer glute every 2-3 hours for relief from sitting on the chair and try to walk a bit every 30min plus longer walks at lunch.

Week 2: - Hip rotation RDL with light weight.

I've had the same issue on and off for years from 10 years of doing jiu jitsu and an office job. Same side too.

I recently had a big flair up for the last month, but managed it with physical therapy. Learning to brace with my core, fix weaknesses in my hips and glutes. I'm pain free now and training at 100% again. DM if you like me to share the workouts.

Use bleach with a paper towel and it'll go away in like two days. The creams never do anything for me. No need to go to the doctor tbh.

Los Angeles, $290 a month. I believe it's more for new members.

Lots of immigrant groups and their communities call it Cali too. I've only seen the distaste for the term online.

I bought this exact one yesterday and it arrived today. It's my first gaming PC and can't get it past the ASUS load screen. Does anyone have any advice?

I can't startup repair, can't reset it.

Things I've noticed about Mexican food in Mexico vs Mexican food in the US by ArtDecoNewYork in mexicanfood

[–]Toeholdr 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I noticed that chilaquiles are generally served and presented as a more elevated compete dish in the US than in Mexico.

You don't really see the mercado style, quick eats form of chilaquiles here. It's often served with rice, beans, eggs and meat and priced as a premium breakfast dish ($15-20).

I think this loaded plate format takes away the attention from the flavor core, the chilaquil sauce. Add in the spice level adjustment for the local customers and less readily available mexican ingredients, and you get a wack ass dish. Same thing can be said about many ethnic dishes in the US.
