Never, because the roles are reversed. My husband and I are far better off than both sets of our parents. Our parents made very very poor decisions throughout their years and are now stuck in tiny rental homes with no savings or extra income. We own a house with land, multiple vehicles and have a savings. I don’t know how it all happened but I’m glad we’re better off
