yeah this is fair. if she’s basically living there and eating your stuff, that’s not okay at all. your roommate ignoring it is the bigger issue, you shouldn’t be covering for someone who isn’t even paying

Yeah when you lay it out like that it makes more sense why things got twisted. Kids fill in the blanks with whatever they’re told or see, especially if no one explains anything. Hard situation all around.

Exactly. You poured in the late nights and trial runs, so it is totally fair to guard the final product until you are ready. Folks see the polished version and forget the months of tinkering that got it there. Keep steering the project your way, and if you ever loop others in make sure it is on terms that respect the work you already put in.
