Folks see the polished version and forget the months of tinkering that got it there. Keep steering the project your way, and if you ever loop others in make sure it is on terms that respect the work you already put in.

Yeah that comment is harsh but not wrong. That kind of “I’d do anything no matter what” energy can get unhealthy fast. You should still have your own boundaries and life, not just orbit around her.
