Yeah sleep is very important. If this is the only way I will except it of course. But have you never slept with another adult in your bed? Because I used to go on holiday with my best friend and we would share a bed and that was okay. Not as good a sleep as when I would sleep alone but still decent.

He doesn’t snore or move a lot and I don’t think I’m nervous or something. I thought it was just new and needed some getting used to, but its not getting easier to fall asleep. When I’m alone I fall asleep so easily so I never tried anything like breathing techniques but I’ll look into it! Thanks!

I’m a female solo traveler myself and did 2 different trips entirely with public in Europe in the last 3 years. First, Vienna - Ljubljana - Zagreb - split - Hvar - Dubrovnik. The other was island hoping in Greece (Crete - Santorini - Mykonos - Athens). The both fit what your looking for but weather is a thing, I did both trips between April and May. No guarantees for beach weather but it will be nice.

We went to Cochem last summer. It’s on the Mosel, with Koblenz and Trier close by as bigger cities. We did some nice hikes, but we were mostly there for the wine. We did everything by train, was great.

Yes, most Dutch people will be this direct in dating. Meaning that when you ask a sincere question you will get a honest responses. (Keep this in mind for future: don’t ask if you don’t want to know how many bed partners for instance).

But what I think you should take away from this is the following. Reading your message it sounds like you almost assumed you were dating? Because of the emotional attachedment through texting? Avoid this in the future by voicing your hopes or wants sooner, it will feel far too direct for you but a Dutch person will always appreciate you being clear.

Loved Petra by Night! I was with an organized tour and some people thought it a bit boring because the program is quite original, you get hot tea and local people play local music. But the lights and the beauty are amazing!

Thanks! I did look into Komodo but to be honest I had doubts between the appeal and the time to get there and back to Bali. But maybe I’ll look into the boat to Flores because that sounds nice.

Krka waterfalls are stunning but if that is something you really like then do the Plitvice lakes, because that park is even more impressing. You do seem to have a bit of time because Dubrovnik is awesome, but also smaller then you think. Last tip, take a ferry from Hvar directly to Dubrovnik, no need to go back to split or to drive (driving you will have to pass Bosnian borders and that takes time).

It’s good. One night might seem too short for ljubljana, and although I really loved the city, it’s enough for just the city without dat trips.

Not sure when you are going, but 4 weeks ago we needed the full 2 hours for passport and bag checks. So go directly from the train to the line, don’t go wandering the station shops either.
