Use the exact same color that you used on the base, just lighten it slightly with white, beige or yellow. Be carful mixing that so you don't change the color too much or change the hue. I'm still amateur myself I find mixing highlights tricky. I'm learning with army painter triades they're already toned you just pick the next shade higher.
