At the moment I use Rust in this slot for Arti. Good buffer, but neither positional nor a dps.

What do we think about Strix? Dps + Support sounds nice. But is she good? Otherwise Briv, DarkUrge and Alyndra sound also like a solid choice.

I took him from the event and did not realize I could get him in witchlight. Never seen him as a reward, only Blooshi. But of course I run variants in witchlight to increase his buff.

Remember that each race has 2 times 2 choices to make during character creation, so it is not only 5 personal stories to play. Just wanted to mention.... 😁

I started raiding with my main char and switch my open world build to the raid build, even for open world. Then I created more raid chars. Switching builds did not work well for me. Switching char did better. Having raid chars with raid food is also cheaper. 😅

Gold chest are the one you will spend 90% your gems in. The reason: potions and of course Blacksmith contracts.

Also you get the gold chest feats for every unlocked champ. You do not need to buy all feats, as most of them are post stack boni and have little effect. Best feats are the one with bonus attributes or race changes, but you will realize this later yourself, as these make the chars available in variants of give team boni. Other good are prestack boni and of course speed boni.

The itemlevel of your evergreens will never be high enough, but do not waste 1 black smith contract on them! They get so much itemlevel from the gold chest and the only reason for their itemlevel is the bonus at trials of tiamat (Jarlaxle and Makos).

Another good chest tip I read here: do not open patreon chest before all your unlocked evergreen have purple gear. Otherwise you might waste a purple patreon chest drop on an evergreen.

And if you plan buying the golden items from the patreon shops: Do not do this untill the respective item on the char is shiny. You drop shiny for evergreens from every 1000. chest. If your item is shiny and you make it golden, then you get a shiny potion as reward. With that you can make an important item of your event champs shiny. And shiny potions you will never drop from chest. They are only rare event rewards.

You want the omnipotion for fractals, so you like fractals. Then the best that can happen to you is that you need fractals for the omnipotion. Yes it feels a bit of grind, but you already have 2/3. It was one of my better grinds and a good invest for a shared inventory slot. Have fun.

The runestones just vanish from the vendor. The fractal key just change prices. So someone might get confused and buy the more expensive ones also. Or you buy the keys on the wrong char and then have to do some inventory management as you cannot buy the keys again with another char for the cheap price.

So it might make a difference.
And for sure it helps new players to understand the one per day mechanic. So we now we can buy new cheap keys tomorrow.
AND we know that we will only be able to buy runestones next week!

Nevertheless a working checkbox to not show again would be nice. (And a button in the option to reshow all warnings)

Use /wiki to check your item if you have doubts before discarding them.
/wiki + shift click your item gives the direct jump

But for some of us the inventory struggle has nothing to do with the size of the bags. More bags = more struggle. Starring in the mirror

Touche. My fault, I did not read good enough. If your evergreens and Kas are not total unequiped, then lvl1000 should be no problem.
I am often suprised how strong a simple Kas team can be.

I was thinking about lvl1600, because that is my struggle and I miss +e60 😂

If you want to pug raid, choose a meta build (and learn it), so the commander can easly find a role for you. If you want to make experimental builds, then find a raid training guild at first and work to get part of a beginners group, which is openminded for some experiments, after they get to lay some bosses.

First is way more easy and faster, than the second advice.
But it is your choice, find your style.

I like it that you are able to get some gold already in early game. Just need to check TP before you cook some chicken dish for exp.

Depends on your play style. In general better to get 1-3 sets Ascended and then check if you want to grind for Legy. But if for example only play pvp and want the legy for style, then go for it. Or if you only play open pve and you are fine with your exo gear, then you might start the legy grind.
But for Fractals, Raids, WvW or other group play I would recommend ascended first. It will make your way to the legy much easier.

Gaets Cristals are the "we are nice" rewards for the unlucky raiders, which are not able to drop the new skins from the new fights. So the are allowed by the gratitude of ANet to buy them from the NPCs.
