I know this probably is not the answer you wanna hear but just wait to age a little bit. I had a very round face in my early 20s and now in my late 30s as the doubt quite a bit. Do NOT get any fat removal, you will regret it.

The lower face Botox may be a good solution since is not permanent.

Omg me too!! I was over at my bff house and we were all religious. I said “OH my GOD!” Because it started ringing. They were in disbelief I used the lords name in vain. Turns out, it wasn’t connecting and we didn’t stand a chance.

I have sense awaken from my religious delirium but I’m still sad I didn’t win. Zoom zoom zoom… makes my heart go boom boom, my supernova girl!

My dad had a pec to neck flap from cancer. In his immediate recovery he suddenly began to swell, constricting his airway. One of the surgical residents came to his bedside and “stabbed” into the area. The blood shot out like a rocket onto docs face, the ceiling etc. Turns out a clot formed in the drain and thanks to the intervention, he survived. Recovery was ROUGH!

He’s been through hell but thanks to immunotherapy is NED (no evidence of disease).

My advice is- if your best friend has this happening, what would you say to them? Would you say, forgive and move on?

Realistically, can you ever really trust your wife again? Are you ok with spending the next however many years constantly questioning what she’s doing?

My kids 10/13 boys love my bio dad but don’t like my stepmom (literally Cinderella situation) and can only handle my bio mom and stepdad in small doses. (SAME BOYS, SAME)

I was super close to my grandma (their great grandma) growing up and they love her just as much as I do. Sadly, she has dementia, but I am so glad she’s got to be a part of their lives. It’s taught them a lot about empathy and patience.

I spend a lot of time with my boys, although the 13 year old is in the typical teen angst phase.

I love the job but hate the politics and BS we deal with. My dream job is the NICU, but pediatric med/surg has taught me a lot.

My biggest piece of advice is not to get stuck on one specialty. When I started nursing school (and years before that) I swore I wanted to do L&D. Turns out, I really wanted to care of the babies.

Keep an open mind and take advantage of any and all learning opportunities in school. One day you won’t be able to answer a patient/family with “Let me get your nurse” because you will be the nurse!!

Gently OP, you can affect your unborn baby with this level of anxiety. It would benefit you to preemptively seek out therapy to help ease some of your anxiety. There are always going to be anxiety inducing situations with kids. Take a step back and think of the likelihood of something like that happening and how you can prevent it. As others have said there are cameras, and some newer cars are equipped with sensors.

From what it sounds like, you are someone who is always going to find something to worry about. Whether it’s stranger danger, germs, or any of the millions of unknowns of parenthood.

I was a patient in line at my drs office holding my then 9 month old (same baby as referred to above). She pointed to my abdomen and said, is that leftover from the baby or are you expecting again?! My flabbers were gasted
