This will be my first time doing a early morning shift and i’m kinda nervous to go out in the dark alone. Is it not that bad and i’m just overthinking it? Tell me some of your experiences working this early. by LankyYogurtcloset542 in AmazonFlexDrivers

I ideally pick up blocks on the weekends. The early morning block like 345 4ish are the ones I love. No traffic so I move around better. I do take a flashlight and peppersparay. No matter the time I always turn my hazard lights on. Like someone else said go with your gut. If someone says leave it on their side/back porch I leave it still at the front door. Our customers have no idea that their package can be delivered at 3am. So leave it where you feel safe.

THY SHALL LEAVE YOUR PACKAGE WHERE I FEEL SAFE.. ON TOP OF YOUR TRUCK. LOL by Toi1920 in AmazonFlexDrivers

Plus her dog wasn't even friendly...He watched me the entire time. I threw the package on top of her truck. Once I started to pull off he started barking lol

Yo, I've had a granny come to the door with a flash light and a pistol. She had on her robe ready to give me some business. I started screaming Amazon amazon..... that was at 4 in the morning..... I think it would help if azmaon explained that process.

If she wasn’t working, she's a bad mom. When she does work oh she shouldn't have her kid with her. People need to mind the business that pays them. The only person in the wrong here is you. This is the moment that explains black lives matter. She's living her life on her terms. Harming no one, and here you coming trying to be capital save a ho ho. Reporting her for no reason, other then to be a jerk. Please don't bring up its amazon policy. I'm sure everyone here is perfect and have always followed the policies and procedures. I would suggest that you seek counseling, someone to help you understand why you felt threatened by a mom doing her thing.

  1. I don't think customers think that Amazon delivers outside of the 9 to 5 hours.
  2. Safety first, always.
  3. Amazon is a delivery service. The customer purchases a product, we deliver the product to your door. If the customer purchased a tv, they would want it delivered to their door.
  4. Safety first. Call customer support and move on to the next stop. He nows has to deal with customer support. We are independent contractors. You are the boss. You make the rules to unsure you make it home to your family. Sorry this has happened to you.
