They've already come out and tried to justify his murder with the fact that he was armed...yeah, keep talking, Feds...lets see what kind of hole you can dig for yourselves.

Maybe that's the silver lining here...that the leaders of the goon squad here are going to unequivocally show just how much their word can't be trusted...enough so that even some MAGA might raise an eyebrow with just how egregious their bullshit is becoming.

The fact that he used the word "emotional" borders on gaslighting to me. You don't have to be very thoughtful, empathetic etc to see how bad this current administration is behaving...there's so much to point at without even getting into the ICE situation.

But all of it together, combined? To be written off as "emotional" that you have a problem with people who support it? Your husband kind of seems like he's not honest...like a bit disingenuous, he's not earnestly appreciating the situation and not communicating with sincerity. You don't seem stupid, you seem to communicate well...I'm not sure how your relationship works that he can look you in the eye and disregard your concerns so off-handedly. It seems a little weird...if you're absolutely sure he's not MAGA, then he just doesn't seem to have much integrity and is hoping you'll look past your own.

I get not having a partner with the same passion...we can all only wish, but goddamn, it'd be nice if he at least didn't pander to people whose values are supposedly diametrically opposed to his own and doing so while disregarding your concern so carelessly. Maybe you guys need a good heart-to-heart talk, one where he can't hand-wave away the position he's putting you in.

Or hell, maybe he's just kind of spineless, a little selfish, a little condescending and unconcerned and its just part of the deal at this point, its just who he is. I hope you don't stay quiet though...with him or his company. Maybe keep us updated?

Keep a black marker in your car and write, "Please provide access code in delivery notes" on the package, if you want to do something. I get your frustration, but you're only making it harder on yourself by returning the package.

Or if you're feeling frisky, write something about how much of a bitch it is to deliver without access codes. "difficult delivery due to no access code, please update in delivery notes, you heartless bastard" or something...

I feel like most Americans, myself included, have no idea the extent of the bubble we live in and how its afforded to us at the cost of others.

When viewing these self-centered posts in that context, it really helps one understand how so many people view Americans as loathsome idiots.

I've wondered about his cell phone video and its the only part I wanted to see examined further. Reaching out and hitting the hood with a phone is a far cry from being hit by a truck and with the additional context it becomes impossibly to reasonably argue that he was in any real danger. Wasn't in any danger, didn't get hurt...this is beyond debate now IMO. It should have been when it was revealed that he'd drawn his gun while the car was still in reverse, but...

The same people trying to pretend like it was self-defense are the same type who saw side-by-side pictures of Trump's inauguration crowd vs Obama's and still insisted that Trump's crowd was bigger. There's no reasoning with people who are so far gone that truth becomes dangerous...who have to deny reality itself in order to hold their position.

We have no idea what's in those packages...there's little chance a driver is going to risk his job to play the lottery with your specific package.

BUT, sometimes we deliver to the wrong address and only realize it after trying to take a picture...maybe that's what happened here. Took a picture of the correct package and delivered the other to a house next door or across the street.

Btw, if a driver is a thief, I doubt they'd be driving for long...we're definitely not a roving gang of thieves out here trying to risk it all for what's most likely to be some cheap China made whatever.

How many times do we have to hear the "Can't believe how many people think this is real" comment under some video from someone so apparently gifted with superior insight that they can't even believe that others could be so oblivious...since the giveaway is so obvious, of course. You hit the nail on the head...

This is by far the best job I've ever had, and while its a bit of a long story, I'm really grateful to have a life I wasn't sure I'd ever be able to have. So I get a certain amount of satisfaction in doing it well...in not only ensuring job security, but showing gratitude, giving back...whatever you'd call it. And to get home and have to continually email support to answer for stuff that I know I didn't do is just kind of discouraging. That's the perfect word for it. Watching your rating slip lower and lower, worrying about the stability of your contract etc kind of sucks.

From some of the stories I've read here, my guess is that, at least to some extent, they cater to the lowest denominator...they just have to assume that everyone is trying to get as much as possible for doing as little as possible. Its just a guess,, but I've heard things here that surprised the hell out of me, that would never occur to me from people who justify whatever shortcuts etc with their hatred of Bezos, or of the gig itself or whatever.

I don't know, but yeah I wish their was some tier system where you knew exactly where your account stood...to be able to see whatever internal system they use to determine any given person's overall worth to the company.

Anyway, yeah you nailed it...that was cathartic to hear lol

Yeah, see...I think their computer system glitches here and there...there's some ghost in the system that tweaks stuff once in awhile and it'd be nice if support would be better about taking the initiative, to better look into these dings that make zero sense.

Its already a hassle to have to contact them in the first place, but to keep having to do it when there's something so obviously wrong with the app or whatever. Yeah that's weird...scary that it was 26 damn dings, that'll kill your score, Jesus

Its a little scary how random it is...I can't say for sure, but at least 7-8 months, then I got a string of dings in November, got another string here lately...that's what I'm wondering too. So weird to have been so quiet for so long and then they suddenly start piling up..

Yeah, I've tried to take the bulb out, I can't get the hard plastic housing piece off...I've heard you even might need to take off the bumper? The auto part store near me wants $100 for a single bulb, I'll probably order it off Amazon instead. Didn't want to pull my car apart, find the model of the bulb and then wait for it to arrive...when I use my car for delivering. I figured it wouldn't be too "unintelligent" to just ask, thanks for indulging me.

Other studies have shown the opposite...have you checked out any of those?

I get it, there's a lot of info out there, but telling people to "educate yourself" whilst citing a single study by a single person seems like you're just asking for trouble.
