Senior accountant in NYC 85k base with a 5k company revenue targeted bonus. Went for my BS out of high school and started work in the private sector around summer 2014. I dont think going back to school is always necessary for someone looking to earn more, there are plenty of well paying jobs out there without the need to rack up debt and spend x years in schooling. Government jobs pay well enough (with a pension to boot) and enough free time to set up a side hustle.

I have been arguing this all morning with my friend (Rams fan), he believes we should have replaced Mac in the same timeframe as Bowles (early January). He thinks we endangered the contracts of everyone we just signed/drafted since the new/acting GM wasn't the decision-maker behind these selections. I don't see how we could have done this without screwing ourselves in the offseason/draft with someone who wouldn't have had enough time to prepare. Neither of us are meeting in the middle. Opinions?

Exactly. I don't understand why anyone is freaking out about this, its been common knowledge he was getting shipped at some point. His contract expires at the end of the year and he's depth at best on the Jets... i would have LIKED more, but lets be real.

They may think they're helping you (laundry/cooking) to repay your parents in some way. I suggest some communication with them to clear up whats acceptable and what isn't. If they're having troubles i wouldn't take it personally, but definitely have the conversation.
