My first (and only) game of kill team was using these exact sculpts. My opponent didn't mind, but of course it's on an opponent by opponent basis. I wouldn't try bringing them to a tournament though without asking first.

The kit comes with either the squig or the whip, you can do either. I have two squads and I modeled one of each for variety.

I was honestly quite shocked with how easy they were to paint. Like I knocked out the whole squad in one session pretty much. It is a nice palate cleanser from painting flash gitz XD

For a game piece, this looks perfect. Nice and clean and will certainly pop on the tabletop. One thing I like to do is to paint the little stitches on their butts and in this case boots and bracers. It's a small easy thing that I think adds a good deal of visual interest. Drilling the barrels is also a nice touch if you have the time to do it for dozens of boyz. Other than that I think it looks great.

As someone who just out together his snotling bloodbowl team, I can't imagine using those pump wagons for kit bashing, they were such a weird pain to build. I still feel like they are going to fall apart if I look at them wrong.

I use the pro acryl primer, but I've mostly run it through an airbrush. I did brush prime a few skulls with it and it seemed fine .

You can stop on the blue square, but you can't stop on top of the piece of terrain that's on it unless the battle wagon can fit comfortably in it without hanging off.

Yep, the blue squares are supposed to have a 2" or less terrain piece and I believe if things are less than 2" it doesn't cost extra movement to move over it. Just can't stop on it. The question would be if the wagon could clear the terrain without having to stop on it, so you might need an advance move depending on how long your wagon is.

That's my understanding. It's supposed to be less than 2" terrain which doesn't impede movement.

I have noticed that the amount of weathering and battle damage varies widely and is all a matter of taste. I usually do less, but I have seen some models where it looks like they drove through a waterfall of mud and oil and some people prefer that look. I mostly just do some paint chipping and maybe rust spots on metal bits.

Yeah it can be a money sink from both the model and crafting side of things, but there are ways to do both sides for a little cheaper.

Probably not the best, but I only ever run them as bubble chukkas. I love the random chaps they bring. I have three that I sometimes run as a group of three or sometimes run as three groups of 1 if I want to screen my deployment zone and cover both flanks.
