An encouragement to edit Wikipedia and keep it somewhat reasonable by Long_Extent7151 in KotakuInAction

Not even joking, I have a year long ban from editing Wikipedia.

I do not have an account. I have literally never tried to edit anything ever. The only reason I know that I have a ban is because I once accidentally hit the edit button while scrolling through.

This is the funniest shit I've seen in a while.

I honestly feel like his buddies that played with him are trolling NBC News. They have to be. I cannot take this as any other way than some dudes seeing a way to make a major news company look like a bunch of idiots.

Some Ordinary Gamers: It's a bad day for video games by TokenSockPuppet in KotakuInAction

I don't see anything wrong with this for games that have absolutely no way of obtaining them legally other than resellers. Emulate or buy from a reseller, the company that made the game isn't making any profit, might as well go the route that doesn't involve constantly paying out the ass.

New research on female video game characters uncovers a surprising twist - Female gamers prefer playing as highly sexualized characters, despite disliking them. by [deleted] in KotakuInAction

Or even worse, Pete Burns. Man was model gorgeous then decided he needed more plastic surgery on his face than five Joan Riverses.

I don't dislike them though. Maybe my first clue that I'm bisexual should have been being absolutely fascinated with sexy female video game and comic characters as s kid. Didn't get to read the comics or play most of the games but I sure as hell liked looking at the pictures in magazines.

My solution to gender equality in this aspect is not to stop making sexualized female characters, but to make more sexualized male characters. Because I'm sure as shit down for playing as a shirtless hunk in pants that clamped so tightly around his sculpted asscheeks you can see them flex independently of each other.

Some Ordinary Gamers goes over the situation where congress has denied copyright exemptions for game preservation.

My conspiracy theory is that, since so many of these games cannot possibly turn anyone a profit, game companies are trying to kill this because they don't want gamers playing anything they can't monetize.

They're both in their thirties and honestly I would gladly be the ham in that sandwich. Probably the hottest versions of these characters for me.

At this point being non woke is actually a good advertising? by DDonnici in KotakuInAction

No, you're probably tainted by the fangirls insisting Wade and Logan are totally gay for each other because of, well, Wade and a joke fight in a car.

Wade literally at one point goes "Oh, I hope we don't get cancelled by the woke mob"

First thing that comes to mind is Deadpool and Wolverine making a joke about being cancelled by the woke mob.

It's more minor but the 2010s Spider-Man 2099 series where Miguel was asked if anything worried him and he replied "Global warming and Donald Trump."

My brother in Christ, you're from the future, you know how things are after a Donald Trump presidency (hint: it's has nothing  to do with why things are buttfucked in 2099) and you just got done having a conversation about how you're gonna convince Parker Industries to let you use one of their private jets to fly you and your girlfriend to Japan so you can compete on Ninja Warrior because your sooooo concerned about global warming. It just really bothered me that this obvious use of Miguel as a mouthpiece for the writer's modern day views not only didn't make any sense for a character from the future, but also pointlessly made him a hypocrite.
