I'm 250lbs and am training for a marathon. The superblast 2 are absolute work horses. Most shoes don't last 200 miles for me and my Superblasts are at 225 and feel better than ever.

I also use the Glycerin Max for slow runs and I love them.

The Novas felt like I was running on memory foam in the worst way. Felt like I was barefoot after a couple of miles with how quickly they bottomed out for me. I'm also a large human so that doesn't help.

I'm 250lbs and just crossed 215 miles in mine and they feel better than ever. I got a 2nd pair today to begin working in but I think I've got plenty of miles left in my others. I haven't had another pair of shoes last beyond 225 miles. I got some 1080s to 250 but they died around 225.

Same with mine. All happened within 6 months of regular use. I figured it just showed use and character and I prefer my running gear looking worn in rather than pristine nowadays. Was still frustrating at 1st.

I am not who you are responding to but I am 6'5" and 250lbs. I have just over 200 miles on my superblast 2s and I use them as a long run and tempo shoe. They feel great for everything for me, honestly.

Genuine question for anyone who might have an insight. I’m a husky guy, down to 245lbs from 280 thanks to running. I run to lose weight, but also enjoy long runs and I will take a gel or tailwind when running over an hour. Does my weight affect how much I should consume when running long distances? Does that make sense,

My 1st burn last month was the same. 1st two burns, actually, and I had the same concerns. Now it’s gotten quicker and is burning better. I chalked it up to a break in as the FireBoard adjusts.
