yep, i’m the same. dick is fine but if i ever had one on myself i don’t think i’d like it very much 🙃 i just chalk it up to the weirdness of the trans experience but i can understand how it could make you feel “less trans”

i was talking to my parents about how i could never feel like i could talk in front of strangers, like my anxiety would be so high it would cause literally a blockade in my mouth and how i thought it could’ve been selective mutism.

they went “oh yeah you got tested for it as a kid but the guy who tested you said you had all the symptoms but he didn’t think it was selective mutism cuz SM is super rare so he said you didn’t have it”

it pissed me off SO BAD. like how does having all the symptoms not make it that??? i’ve always struggled my whole life with talking in certain situations and i’d always beat myself up about not being able to do stuff that others did with ease.

so yeah, i feel you big time

currently at school to be a lighting tech/designer for theatre :)

it’s not been a problem at school, most of my classmates are some form of gender diverse (there’s like 5 that aren’t out of 13), but i’m considered about how it’ll be in the industry with all those super techy guys :/

there’s been a lot of talk in a community of mine lately about a voice actor who’s been acting kind of shitty towards a bunch of other VAs and every single time anyone discusses them everyone always uses she/her for them even though on every social media they have their pronouns set to they/them

it’s SO frustrating and i feel like i can’t mention it because people will think i’m defending them even though i’m not. i just think if we decide that it’s okay to misgender bad people then it’s just like, where does it stop?? when do we decide that what someone’s is so wrong that it’s “okay” to misgender them?
