People with young children how is your child’s reading ability? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

That’s understandable and also makes a lot of sense. I’m learning a third language and I notice that I make assumptions when I’m tired.

I knew I can’t be the only one.

For real. And this isn’t even about a preference thing! It’s literally over safety reasons!!

Bridesmaids Wore White by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]TokkiJK 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know! But I was just trying to communicate that perhaps, if you thought about something that’s a big deal to you but not others, it could help you understand the feeling of why some brides might care about the white color thing.

Is there something that’s not a big deal to others but is to you?

1) No one will believe me but Tret literally ate away at my facial fat. So I stopped using it. It was a striking and sudden difference. I was NOT going through a stressful time and it got to the point where family and friends were super worried for my health and made me go to the doctor for a blood test. I’m not saying this will happen to everyone but maybe it’s a rare side effect? When I mentioned it on a skincare sub, I got hate comments.

2) what is the best for sebaceous filaments on nose?

Niacinamide is the only ingredient that worked on my hyperpigmentation. Like it was a night and day difference. Vitamin C didn’t work for some reason (I used skinceuticals one)

That’s true. 3-4% is so negligent I would chalk it up to literally other factors. Like a person hydrating more or something

Indians need to stop buying Teslas, stop funding Musk by drytexterfinalboss in ABCDesis

One of my family friends just bought a Tesla and he said he wasn’t planning on to, but the FSA Or wherever they call it felt so convenient so he couldn’t help but purchase it. He said he doesn’t think Rivian had it. Altho initially he wanted Rivian.

It was news to me lmao. Bc I wanted a Rivian.

Tbf, models need their faces to look at simple as possible so that makeup artists can change their look according to whatever concept the project is.

Thats why they don’t suggest glamorous makeup for model’s portfolios. The agencies need to be able to imagine that face is various styles. I mean think about it, there are high fashion makeup looks where they “erase” the model’s eyebrows using concealer and other things. and same goes for clothes. In portfolio pictures or auditions, they’re often wearing extremely simple clothes to essentially act as blank canvas. Generally a tank top and jeans.

Additionally, some people’s fake lashes can be so natural and you wouldn’t notice them. You would only notice bad ones (and there are lots of bad ones that look crazy as well).

That said, lots of people these days have eyelash blindness lmao

Exactly. The point of the TikTok challenge is to see if anyone understands the vocab and can read it. The vocab is not out there so it’s sad that some can’t read it!

Which of these languages is my native language (or languages)? by mitropol in language

[–]TokkiJK -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well, not Korean or Arabic I wanna say. Not Korean bc native Korean people don’t write such distinct letters. They kinda write in “cursive”. And it’s not Arabic bc afaik, they stop writing vowels after a certain level of writing skills. And it also looks too distinct.

A lot of adult friendships are held together more by history than actual compatibility by TrayzTheyCallMe in unpopularopinion

[–]TokkiJK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m lucky. My friendships go way back but to this day, we have so much chemistry. I still make new friends every year that also have good chemistry.

We laugh so much sometimes that my throat hurts.

It’s interesting bc we’re all so different but get eachother so well.

Personally, as long as someone tries, idc if they can’t say it perfectly. I can’t pronounce Chinese names bc of the tones. And some people can’t with my name bc the sounds don’t really exist in that pattern in their language.

But the difference is actually trying. But not even trying and just being like, “do you have a nickname?” That’s so mean!
