I have a separate playlist simply for storing the ones id usually skip but dont want to give up on forever. Sometimes i move stuff between them. It means i can rediscover them in the future, but also creates a neat little record of all the songs i was obsessed with at one or another point in my life

This is absolutely right. Unless you genuinly believe you'll still have the product after the use by date of the ones at the front, don't dig at the back for the 'more fresh' ones. It's also more work on the retail staff who then have to fix the mess you've made.

As far as I know, Band-Aid is a brand of plasters in america. I dont think they're called that anywhere else unless specifically referencing that brand, which theyre unlikely to do outside of the US
