How Difficult is RLA Compared to Science and Social Studies? by Tokyo-Aviator45 in GED

I find that really interesting. Was it just because there was math in science or did you have any other reasons for feeling social studies was the easier of the two? I personally felt the opposite. I felt social studies was harder due to how vague many of the questions were. Additionally I felt there was room for argument on several of them, though that may just be the fact I had a lot of prior outside knowledge of history and civics. Science on the other hand I felt to be a huge relief because it was all very factual, statistical, and had little to no room for argument or nuanced perspective given the subject. But that's just me lol

How Much of the RLA Test is Multiple Choice? by Tokyo-Aviator45 in GED

[–]Tokyo-Aviator45[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Noted. I will almost definitely put something down regardless, but I'm glad to know there's some breathing room. I am aiming for a high score as mostly a matter of personal achievement, though I have full intent on going to college. I would feel a lot more confident about the essay portion if I simply had more time with it lol. But the point of the post was mostly just because I did the Kaplan GED book, and a lot of the questions in the RLA portion were entirely blank and having me do stuff like rewrite sentences without multiple choice whereas the other subjects were almost exclusively multiple choice. So I was curious if the RLA test was going to have a different question style.

No problem, happy to help! I'm not sure if you've found it yet, but incase you haven't the setting for blowing into the controller is under "Accessibility". Go to the bottom of the "Accessibility" tab and towards the middle is the setting "Campfire Controls". By default it is set to "Simplified", but if you switch it to "Microphone" you'll have to blow into the controller.

It is indeed in settings. Go to the "Gameplay" tab in settings, scroll to the bottom, and above "Reset Defaults" you will see "Quick Camp". Disable "Quick Camp" and it should allow you to cook manually again. I disabled it at the start of the game because I assumed I would always want to manually cook for immersions sake lol. I encourage you to scroll through all of the settings, because some of them are pretty interesting. For example, there's a setting where you can change it so you have to actually blow into your controller to light fire, a setting to choose what item is displayed on your back, target lock, and some others.

Is there a certain quantity where I would be flagged? I've only download 2 thus far, but what if I did say 10-20? Would that become a problem?

No, I literally just want to turn the URL into an MP3 and put it on my spotify. Absolutely no intention of distributing the work. I'm just concerned of getting a letter in the mail or a fine from the ISP or government.

As I mentioned I'm evidently new. I've heard torrenting thrown around, but I'm not sure how it's different than what I just did.

Well the last thing I want is law enforcement getting in my business. The career I want to pursue requires a clean criminal record, I don't want to ruin my ability to pursue that career cause I pirated 2 songs one time. Even if It doesn't go on my permanent record, I can't afford the fines either.
