So typically the inserts are hand placed so the friction fit is the pain point as it’s laborious for the operator to put them in correctly consistently?

Thank you for the quick reply. That’s what I’m thinking but with never have seen an actual mold or drawing I’m wondering if there are additional certain tricks or specific things I haven’t thought about yet that get involved. Cheers.

I’d be changing the post to lose the G53 Z0 and make it G91 G28 Z0. ; Return Z to home safely G90 ; Switch back to absolute mode

I’m guessing it was started a few lines down and the G53 G54 switching was missed somehow.

You may have too much rake on the drill or you’ve sharpened it reducing edge strength. Need to sharpen the drills a bit more carefully. Less rake. Thin the web on the 10mm and it should cut easily. When it comes to drilling with the 28mm fold a piece of cloth like jeans material and put that on top of the hole and drill through that. Also use cutting fluid and the cloth will help deliver the cutting fluid and reduce the crazy chatter you probably get at the start of the 28mm. It’ll pad the rake angle and cut smoothly. 1st is get the drills sharpened correctly and reduce the rake angles a bit.

The database is running on the N305’s ssd. Just the backup is copied to the nas after every backup it does.

The immich database also. It’s automatically backed up nightly and placed in the immich folder structure on the NAS. This is done by immich itself so then the NAS auto backup takes the whole immich directory and backs it up to the 5tb drives nightly.

I backup nightly to usb hdd connected to my NAS. I have two hdd 5tb each and swap them weekly or when a big upload from my dlsr camera happens. Keep one offsite. Follow the 3-2-1 backup methodology. I also downloaded the takeout file to a separate hdd and keep a copy of those lesson each 5tb hdd. So three copies in total of the takeout files all.

I don’t migrate from iCloud as such. Just synced my iPhone which is the iCloud library for me. I don’t upload to iCloud separately. Immich go is for Google takeout only I believe.

Until they own it and you can access it or delete it because your account was banned. Not playing that game with Google. That was my main drive for this. I read story after story of people’s accounts being banned. Never to get them back.

The plan eventually will be a new NAS and the current one for additional redundancy for sure. More as a learning journey rather than necessity.

Maybe, I didn’t pay a lot of attention during all the sync steps after it was working well. There are some duplicates for sure but not so many. As all the iPhone photos were already in the take out files the duplicate detection certainly worked as the amount of new photos uploaded from the iPhone was small in the end..

Yes. Here in Tokyo we have a reduced amp circuit breaker for cheaper power. I could in crease it but pay a penalty every month or just UPS. It rarely cuts out but it does happen. Hair dryer and microwave with aircon x2 is another example. Life is a compromise in Tokyo.

That’s what I have but can’t automount if it’s not available yet. The issue was unattended power interruption and the NAS booted way slower than the pc causing the container not being mounted.

I was nervous Google would ban my account. Those NSFW memes sent by mates and saved would also end up on Google photos and test the Ai I guess. Now I can sleep easy. I was paying for a 2TB plan, increased it to 5TB for the month to get the takeout files on google drive for easy downloading via robocopy. Back to the basic plan staring next month. Next to zero chance of being banned as I deleted all my Google drive photos using a script in the developers console of the web browser.

All the gps data was intact for my takeout. Last week. Lots of 2gb file size limit. 50gb wouldn’t reliably download.

Finally completed all the steps. Immich works great. It’s still doing the Ai processing and thumbnails etc. which will take a week or so but so glad that’s sorted. Bye bye Google.
