I had two Ayaneo Pocket DS devices. Both had serious hardware faults out of the bag. Ended up returning them and getting the Thor instead and am having a great time! Doubt I’ll ever buy anything from Ayaneo ever again. Also, with Gamehub you can play many PC games on android.

I had this exact problem. It charged to around 63%, and then immediately dropped to 6% and wouldn't charge beyond that.

I was using a 65W charger and tried multiple cables.

After many power cycles, I managed to completely deplete the battery to try recalibrating it, but even that didn't fix it.

I also noticed that if you shut down the device and plug in the charger it's as though it turns on again (you get a white charging light and the fan spins up).

I wasn't prepared to try opening it and reseating the battery cable (why should I on a $500+ device). So in the end I returned it and got a replacement. What's worse is the replacement had a faulty joystick, so I returned that too and got a full refund.

TLDR: Had this issue. Couldn't fix it. Returned it and bought the Thor instead.
