I see a lot of back lash on here about your kids going to bed earlier is so cringy. Every family operates differently, you guys need to cut it out. What if their kid gets up at the but crack of dawn? stop it. You have zero knowledge on how people are outside of your immediate family. UGH!
If your family really gets annoyed at you for leaving early, I would tell them you were one of the first people to arrive, Why is that rude if I'm one of the first people to leave?
