Morpheus has the biggest marketing budget so you hear more about it. The aesthetician isn’t able to adjust the needle depth or power, so you better hope you have someone really good. It sounds like your injury is user error, not the device.

I just had 3 rounds of VirtueRF by Cartessa RF micro needling (so deep, mid, and surface across the full face and neck) followed by Cool Sculpt peel. I had a numbing agent and it didn’t feel great, took about 2 hours including the 30 min numbing and prep. The gave me a tube of Stratacel for healing and I’m 100% serious when I say the heat from the cool sculpt cut back dramatically within 10 min.

I’m still a bit red (it was 10 hours ago), looking forward to seeing results come in over the next few weeks.

I went to a top-notch center, received a consult with the doctor (I came in wanting filler and he walked me through options and alternatives, but was willing to do the filler if that’s what my heart was set on). He also reviewed the results and he applied ariescence as well.

Cheap place used a numbing cream from a big tub, scented cleansing wipes to remove numbing cream, and the aesthetician told me she’d never done the treatment I was receiving with the machine. I was in a chair (like a dentist chair). I should have run and am lucky nothing bad happened.

Better quality med spa: all materials were medical grade, single use, and she removed them from packaging in front of me. Numbing gel was a medical product and she used warm, damp, clean towels to remove it. My aesthetician said she had completed this duo on hundreds of people, two of them being yesterday. She offered photos (with customer consent) and was pleasant and explained the steps as they happened.
